Interesting ! 250K is not something unheard of.

Mine has 165K and my goal is to at least reach 300K. If it does, I will be very satisfied with my 4Runner's service. Hearing actual 250K on same generation Runner is refreshing. Although a friend of mine in Hawaii owns a 1979 Toyota Landcruiser with 475K miles and won't quit yet .

126,000 on an '02 SR5. I bought it about 3 months ago with 123,000. Runs like a champ, uses no oil, lots of scheduled maintenance performed on time. Looking for 200,000 +.

276,000 on 2000 SR5 4WD. Bought truck new, always been in Monument, CO. Very little has needed repair: air intake sensor under warranty at 35,000, water pump w/first timing belt at 98,000, CD player around 150k (use iPhone now), Rear Defroster at around 280,000. Doesn't burn or leak anything, best vehicle I have ever owned - bar none. Pulled Triton 2 place snowmobile trailer for years, currently pull 3 rail dirt bike trailer, run to Breck and Vail all winter long with no issues. Would drive across country without giving it a second thought. Will buy another 4Runner or larger Toyota / Lexus SUV (Truck) next - simply the best value out there.

187K on my 1997 4x4 Limited..

Just got it in early Jan2010 and it feels unbelievably tight and runs great. You would never guess it has that many miles on it. While not mint it was well kept and parked out of the weather so it still looks great and pretty much rust free.. Hoping for MANY more miles..
