My 2000 T4R had 189,514 miles before I traded it in for my 2007 T4R. I did the regular maintenance (Oil Change every 5K, timing belt, water pump, belts), two set of Michelin LTX M/S tires, fuel pump/fuel filter, front brakes, and struts/shocks. It was a great vehicle!:thumb3:

I have a 1996 T4R with 267K. Its starting to leak oil now, but has been a champ and only replaced alternator, starter, and water pump in all of those years. (I am 2nd owner)

Hi, this is my first post. I bought a '97 4runner for my wife about 5 years ago (she kept seeing them on the road and asking, "What's that? I want one of those."-- I guess I'm just lucky!)

Anyway, it had 50,000 miles on it when I bought it and now it has over 176,000 miles. Haven't done a thing to it except preventive maintenance and oil changes. Oh, and a brake job.

Question is: how many miles on your 4runner? How many miles should I expect to get?

My 1999 has 170K. Have only done routine maintenance and replace a driveshaft that threw a weight.

Just picked up a 1998 with 153,170 miles. Previous owner did all the right stuff and went synthetic in the motor and diff.'s.

I'm looking for over 250K out of my Olive....

I'm at 201,XXX miles and just did the TB, Waterpump, ect ect. TB looked good except for one crack. All the work took about 9hrs and I replaced everything with an ebay OEM replacement kit. It was my first time doing anything like it and I'm happy I did it myself. She purrrs now and is ready for another 100,000. :zoom:

211 thousand kilometers(not sure what that is in miles) on my 2000 4X4. Only thing that's been done is timing. Still running like brand new and planning on driving it till it conks out completely. Thinking i might crack 500,000 kilometers, possibly more.

147000 on my 97 SR5. Regular stuff plus rebuilt my starter for $20 thanks to the threads on this site. Love my T4R. Think shes got lots of life in her still.

96 Limited - 179 Thousand.
Its been babied pretty much with roughly 6 thousand miles of beach sand use.
No issues just the norm maintenance kind of stuff bodys mint no rust.
