97 4x4 limited auto. 171k miles, just bought it 2 weeks ago. Loving every minute of it so far.

Recently purchased 2000 SR5 4x4 148000m. I ordered the Trans cooler and will be doing timing belt and water pump in the next couple weeks.

My wife's '01 SR5 has 178K, and my '02 Sport has 165K. Both running strong with only minimal maintenance. I did change the spark plugs, oil, and brakes on mine today :driving:

2002 4-Runner 241,000!!!

02 4-Runner with 3" lift and 33's!!! In mud every weekend and water!! Swamped it last weekend gave it an oil change after all the lights on the dash were on and shes running fine! 241,000 miles and going strong!

Miles

We just bought our son a 99 Limited 4x4 with 189,500 miles on it. One-owner spent all of its life here in Phoenix, AZ. Had our mechanic check it out and give it a clean bill of health. I don't think it's ever been off-road even. Yes, we did engage all of the 4x4 modes including the rear diff locker and it all engages. I was even able to get the local dealership to fax me all of its service records - added bonus to know some of its background.

We'll start using full synthetic fluids in it as we begin changes...

We're expecting it to last him 4-7 additional years putting @10K miles per year on it.
