How many miles on your 4runner?

This should make you feel good about purchasing a 4 Runner for your Wife...
When we upgraded our 1996 T4R Limited to a 2008 Model it had 229,000 miles and still Ran Like NEW! The Engine & Tranny had never been touched other then the Timing Belt/Water Pump Maintenance.
At approximately 165,000 miles we put about $2,000.00 into the Vehicle since it was still in nice condition, ran well and per our Mechanic's recommendations. He owned his own shop and previously worked for a Dealership.
We had the Timing Belt/Water Pump job done, Crank Seals while they were in there, Rebuilt Alternator (they can go at 175,000-200,000 miles) replaced all the Brake lines, new universal's, Front Brake Pad's, Rear Drum's and Pad's, Antenna Mast, Muffler, Tranny DRAIN & FILL only, Oil change/Filter, checked all fluid's and replaced as need, Coolant Flush/Fill using toyota Red Fluid and DISTILLED WATER.
I was sad to see her go but I'm sure she will provide someone else relaible trasnpertation for year's to come.

just hit 220,000 today fellas.

Mine have faded too. You might want to try some compound or polish (polish is less abrasive). Put a good coat of wax on them too.
