How many revs

2nd Gen with 3.0 V6 Manual.

Just wondering how many revs everyone else runs their's at?

At the moment I rarely run over 3100-3200 rpms. After 3200 the engine really starts to wind up and the engine noise increases dramatically so I have barely ever taken it up to 4000rpm.

Around the 3000 mark seems to be fine for everyday driving and even cruising on the highway at 100kmh.

Just curious if this is how everyone else drives with the 3.0L or if you all drive it harder/easier......

i have an auto, but my 2nd gen v6 gets beat lol you don't get ANY power until after 3k! found that there is no point in running to redline though. usually let it shift about 5k beating on it and about 3500 regular driving

There isn't much of ANY power AFTER 4k so I don't see a point in spinning it that far. I shift at about 3k because I can't stand how my exhaust/engine sounds after that. The 3vze is NOT an exciting engine to rev up.
