OK, I'm bad with minor identifications, and the two vehicles in a 5 o'clock line from the bus are hard to identify for me. I think the Runner should just drive over everyone.

I see two Pathfinders, GMC Jimmy, X3, X5, Volvo, Highlander, Infiniti, and of course the 4Runner that sticks out.

Looks like a silver Highlander peeking through on the top of the picture I see the grille and some headlight.

That's about how it is here in South Dakota with the 4Runners. You can't drive very far without seeing one, two or five. The other night driving down Main St. there were five parked in three blocks, one driving behind me and two up ahead of me. I've developed a habit of pointing them out to my wife, who is sick of hearing me say it, but I'm having a hell of a time stopping. lol.

Colorado still rulz the 4runner per capita fight by far and Subarus do too.

Well, considering the fact that the population of Denver is 3.5 times the whole state of SD I would think that there would be a few more down in CO. It would be interesting to see what the numbers really were. Perhaps we should all write our congressman and have them add that to the census so we could see who really has the swingin d i c k when it comes to 4Runners.

Guess you've never been to the NW. I grew up in Oregon, and just spent a few years in CO. The NW was way more of both.

Probably since you are counting a region and not a state. I bet alot more older ones are on the road here too since we have a much drier rust free climate. I also now see 5-6 5th gens everytime I leave the house and drive for more than 15 minutes.
I've been all over this country and 4Runners are much more prominent in the west period but Colorado seems to have the most of all the generations per Coloradan.

That's funny. The other night we were driving and pulled up to the stop light, she points at the vehicle in front of us and says "4Runner" and I started to laugh. Not because she finally wised up and decided that it would be good for her to play along, but because she was pointing at a damn Xterra. Love her to death, but how in the hell you could confuse the two is beyond me. lol.

Don't worry, she'll get it lol. Took a couple weeks but now she recognizes other gens too. Last night we were on the top of a double decker bus on a NYC sight seeing tour and I was trying to annoy her by finding 4Runners on the streets around the bus. It wasn't until the tour guide said, "Everybody look to the street on the left, that is Little Italy" the entire group turned to look and right at that moment a silver 4th gen turned down that road. We both started laughing hysterically and I didn't even have to say anything lol
