how many tires?

I was driving around this weekend and blew a tire out. Should I replace all four tires or just buy two new ones? The remaining tires have about 50% wear left.

Sorry to hear of your blow-out but glad you didn't crash or anything major.

I'm curious how fast you were going, what kind of road conditions was it, and how many miles did the tire have on it?

Also, did you blow a stock tire or aftermarket?

You might as well go for all 4 if you can afford it, otherwise you'll always be riding on two worn and two brand new from now on. And if you decided to buy all 4 later you'll be throwing away two tires with 50% tread anyways.(Plus the ride quality might not be as good)
