That is a pretty sick way to get the color you want and get paid to drive a car for a few months. Awesome "reverse lease"!!

Paid $47K OTD for a Trail Edition with upgraded audio. $3k over MSRP.

Wasn't happy about it, but the rest of the dealers in Bay Area were getting $10K or more over MSRP. I spent weeks getting to the finish line at this price.

from what i hear its impossible to find a 4runner in CA. dont let the 3k get you down. enjoy the new ride!!

Thanks. Doesn't have me down at all. I was happy to find what I wanted and get what I believe is a fair deal in the current climate.

Have already taken it off road (Old Coast Rd) in Big Sur with my family and had a picnic on a rocky incline ;-0

My two boys (7yr, 10yr) say "This truck is sick!!!!!" about every five minutes.

I live in Louisiana and they said the "couldn't get that here". So i ordered from Huntsville, AL dealership for MSRP. Wait time quoted as 3 months.

Just took possession of a new 2021 Limited yesterday. Total price was $45k, Paid just shy of $48k OTD including all the taxes and fees.

TBH, I got lucky. Back on 3/27 I went in to test drive a used 2018 with low mileage that was listed for like $43k, and so the wife said I should just go buy new since they were only a few k more. The dealership was already scheduled to get the one I purchased, so I put down a deposit that day.

It shipped from Japan on 3/29 and arrived in Virginia 5/24. Sales guy said I was fortunate in my timing - they are selling the 4Runner Limited now for $53k, and they are only scheduled to get 1 between now and end of July.

Just picked up SR5P for 44,726 in the Tri-state area. 800 above sticker much better than the few dealers that had inventory and wanted 10k over sticker.

While picking up the Lunar Rock Tundra Pro at the dealership this last Friday, I saw a older gentleman paying $65K OTD for a Lunar Rock 4Runner. That's almost $20k more than what I paid for my 2019 Pro 2 years ago and $10K more than the Tundra I picked up that same day. Crazy mark up prices nowadays and with people who are willing to pay it. :noidea:
