How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

Toyota dealers were going to send my Touareg to auction and wouldn't retail it... It has literally every feature including air ride which is hard to find and sought after. They are retailing for 19.5-21 and I couldn't get a Toyota dealer to offer me more than 14.5.

They won't give you a price based on them retailing it if they are going to send it to auction. Hence the low offer. Its just business. As everyone else has said, sell it yourself.... But theres no reason to get mad at them. Just walk on the deals.

Take your car to car max for a trade in estimate that is good for 6 days. If dealer can do better, trade in. If not, sell it to Car Max. From my past experience, dealer usually offer 20-30% less than KBB trade in number.

If your car is good shape and is Toyota or Honda. You can sell it yourself on craigslist or autotrader.

Thanks for the tip. I checked out both of those sites and unfortunately I don't think I'm eligible. My wife and I work for a pretty large defense contractor but it isn't listed.

My wife's father is deceased Navy with an honorable discharge but that doesn't cut it.

Why dont you use Edmunds? Or KBB? You can negotiate with the dealership by email, without ever having to set foot in the dealership expect to buy.

34.5k before trade-in and such for a base trail. Trade-in only fetched 3k but all in all it was a good deal.

Just got a black TEP w/ KDSS, cargo cross bars for 40,765 out the door. Price of the vehicle itself before taxes and fees was 38,812. Trucar says the factory invoice for the car is 39,098 so I'm happy.

I just picked up my '15 TE which I haggled and had a trade.

Sticker was 34800 but it didn't have leather or moonroof, both which I wanted. Added on they charged 1100 for it.

My trade net me 4600 in equity towards the new runner.

So after tax title and fees, upgrades and trade in it came out to be 34256ish. I wanted the runner ... I didn't need the runner. My STi hatch was doing me just fine and the dealer knew this. Also happens to be a dealer that myself and my family has bought 5-6 cars from over the years so we have rapport with them.

I told them 31250 OTD and I'll sign.

She's sitting in my driveway for the past 2.5 weeks

The dealers in Southern California area are quoting msrp for 2016 trail base if I want to order one. I told them no thanks.
