How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

2016 Super White SR5 4x4 with upgraded entune ($350), step bars ($350) for $34,990 before tax, tags fees. MSRP was $36,990

Processing fee $699 (They stick it to you in VA).
Tax is 4.10 these days for cars.

I don't recall the out the door number but you can do the math if you're really interested

I am not sure if I overpaid compared to other regions, but I am in the DC/Northern Virginia area. Toyotas in general are just not marked down much. I even checked MD and NC where processing fees are $199 and dealerships have the online pricing of "You pay this price or don't show up"..... After much research I got a really good "deal" for my area. Minus the $699 processing fee.

Oh, free oil changes for life! That's great........ If I never move......

I got a fantastic deal on my TP with KDSS. (Included cross bars, remote start and all weather mats). Paid $38k and some change on a car that stickered at $42k and change.

Pretty shocked in Colorado that I could get such a good price for one. He was willing to drop a lot off the TRD Pro as well but not as much plus I wanted a sunroof.
I'm in co as well. Which dealer is this? I'm in market very soon

I intend to buy an SR5 Premium April 30th when I get back in town from work. I hope to get 10% off msrp and then pay fees and taxes on top of that.

I don't think that is unreasonable on my part.

lol, that's a big detail to leave out. I don't think people understand what OTD price means...

That's literally what "out the door" means. What you paid for the vehicle, including taxes, trades, local up charges and sexual favors etc. Your final price when walking out of the dealership door, with the keys in your hand. It's also the reason that threads like these are pointless. There are so many factors to consider: local value when new and then again when used, taxes - both county and state, licensing fees, smog fees, insurance premiums in that area, time of day and month, dealer premiums...the list goes on and on. Did someone get a good deal? Yeah, but only when compared to the people who purchased the same vehicle in the same area at the same time. Otherwise, all we are doing is comparing apples to oranges and giving many buyers unrealistic expectations in the process. Get the best deal you can and GTFO. A thousand here or there will make no difference in the enjoyment of the vehicle and should not be considered. The buyer should simply look at what a specific vehicle is selling at in their area and try to land below that price.

Ok guys thanks for the help. I ended up getting a magnetic grey standard trail edition w/ premium audio, all weather mats, and rigid running boards. I paid $35,300 for it (stickered at $38,085) They raised the price of me $1k saying the other price was an error and it included a trade. I needed to get out of my other car ASAP so we split difference. All said and done w/ tax, tags, etc and a $7k trade I was out the door for $31,600 - The exact price I paid for my 2008 Urban Runner. I think I got a pretty good deal looking around at what others have paid. What do you think? Thanks guys!

I'm not even sure why we're discussing OTD because there's a dozen different things that can influence it that are often unique to your situation.

This thread should be purely about the price you paid for the vehicle. Not what you're paying in taxes, not what you're paying in doc fees, not what you're paying for your registration, not what you're paying for that extended warranty, not what you're paying for the tire warranty, etc. Which is why comparing prices "out the door" is so retardedly meaningless.

Hey All - new to the forum. I am in Missouri and looking for a white trail premium with KDSS. So far the lowest price I received was $39,790. I think I can do better than this. Anyone in missouri or nearby have any better luck?

Thanks!

totally agree.

Should use invoice as base as that is the lowest published price by the mfg.

this should ignore all variables.

+/- invoice... has some meaning.

Anyone got access to the default invoice prices?

If someone could post them or PM me that would be great -especially for a 4runner trail premium !

There you go. "Dealer Price" column represents the invoice price.

Just been told that the Gulf states (currently in Texas) only do Trail/Trail premiums with KDSS/rear sliding cargo deck on special order @MSRP with a 3-4 month wait! I've seen previous suggestions to go out of state to get one cheaper. Any ideas on who'd be (state wise) stocking up KDSS orders and recommendations on dealers to get one..

I just went through Charles Maund, they had a trail premium with KDSS on the lot. I did the Costco pricing and it was an easy deal. Try checking them out.

Trail Premium

Paid 38,221 plus ttl. last Friday

- White
- remote start
- cargo tray
- premium mats
- roof cross bars
- exhaust tip
- premium protection package (bumper/hood applique)

MSRP after options was 41,122.
