I was looking for NEW, bought used 2015 TEP 6k miles $32,500. Salesman was really cool, new would have been $42k. Left some room to play :tongue:

Car fax is good. Still have 13 months of warranty. It's several hours from home but I'm having an inspection done tomorrow with a toyota dealership.

Got an offer for a Limited 4x4 in black for $47,500 OTD in Texas, which is about $44,500 before TTL, so about $3,000 off MSRP.

MSRP on sticker is $47,560
Options and packages include: 3rd row, stainless steel exhaust tip, remote start, ball mount, cross bars, aluminum running boards, cargo net, carpet mats, VPP

What do you guys think? Do you think they have room to go lower?

I think that's good deal. I got Black Limited last week $3,500 below MSRP. I got offers for $3,000 below MSRP from various dealers and I ended up getting in writing from one and used it get a better deal from a different dealer.

I picked up my TRD Pro yesterday for Sticker/ MSRP. Living in the Bay Area it was the best I could find without a long drive.



No extra factory options other than roof cross bars.

I bought a brand new 2016 Mag Grey SR5 4wd for $32,800 out the door. Was pretty happy to see it only had 2 miles on the Odometer too. Also they gave me above market on my 2016 Tacoma which actually caused me to almost break even on it.

I don't think $32.8 is the true OTD cost. I am sure your trade-in affected the overall deal. Your true OTD price is the selling price of the 4R (listed on your sales contract) + dealer/license fees and whatever taxes would have been (some states with trade in you only pay taxes on the difference between trade in & new car). Don't count any down payment/trade in/payoff...GA taxes are ~6.75% That means you got a new 2016 SR5 4R for $30k (before taxes/fees)? If so that's one heck of a deal. lol.

I think consensus is if you can save 2-4K it's a great deal. Depending on location and model that can vary.

Pricing for 16 LTD

Just curious what the range would be for a new LTD with the third row option, door edge guards, mud guards and the four season floor mat package? Unfortunately, all the extras it comes with are none that I care about. They are giving me $900 worth of other options I do want for 'no extra charge'- but can anyone explain these other charges to me? Wondering if I can get out of paying them....dealer holdback, ppo holdback, wholesale financial reserve, TDA and the destination charge?? Thinking the destination charge is pretty standard, but wondering about the others

Payed $28,800 for my Tacoma SR5 a year ago and traded it in for 28k with 15,000 miles on it. Felt pretty good about that.

The search for a used one is coming to a close I can't find a white trail unicorn for the life of me, in Alberta.The dealer says invoice plus 2 percent, waiting to see what that means, what does that really mean and where would this realistically put me at?!thanks :hungry:
