Thats for dang sure, all dealers in so cal are asking MSRP for a Trail Premium, just wondering if I should wait til 2017 , I just chose the wrong time to look. MSRP on a 16 seems crazy.
Also dealers post trucks on car.com without actually having it. I "found" 3 TRD PROs but when called the dealer, they didn't have it. I could not found a TRD PRO in the whole state. I even looked in CA, NV, NM, and OR. Unfortunately no one had one. This was during Memorial day.

I went through the Costco deal and they have me at $300 over invoice (at least what they claim is invoice) ended up being $37,990+ttl on a '16 Trail Premium with KDSS. Add ons from the factory were roof rack cross bars, chrome exhaust tip, and all weather floor mats.

My '16 SR5 4x4 was ~$34,800 before tax (~$2,100) and title ($200) with TRD wheels, tint, and floor mats.
I financed my T4R to take advantage of a discount and because I was waiting on some funds to get sorted out.
So when I got my first statement I paid $25,000 and the finance dept called me *****ing me out. Is that normal?

I have an offer for a TEP with KDSS and cargo cover for 38,982, what do you guys think? Very close to pulling the trigger.

Not a terrible offer and you know that's on the table. Obviously see if you can go down a bit more but to me that's a decent offer and if you like the truck it's a good price.

I'm also trying to negotiate getting the TRD wheels put on. I went to another dealer yesterday and was quoted 42,000....I left right after that.

Yeah if you can get it for $38-38.5k on the other dealer I'd take it. If they don't budge really $38.9 is not a bad price and running around town trying to find a better deal to save a few hundred creates more of a headache. The less time I spend in a dealership the better.
