How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

New user. Just got a 2016 Limited 4WD, Magnetic Gray on Redwood, 3rd row seat, automatic running boards. MSRP was $48,798 in Alabama (higher due to the worthless Toyoguard thing here for $699). Paid $42,500 ($36,000 after our $6,500 trade).

Other dealers I was working with seemed to think it was a pretty rare deal.

Sounds like a great deal. Still plenty of '16 LEs on the lots so its a good time to buy. Wish i could find one in red around here...

What kind of rates are you guys seeing from Toyota Financial for APRs on the 4Runners? I'm wondering if I should even waste time checking with my local bank, I've done every previous vehicle financing through the dealer but I'm not sure if low rates are ever offered on the 4Runner. Let's assume best possible rate !

I know of dealers in Chicago and Wisconsin offerring up to $4,000 off MSRP on most 4Runners.

I've even seen them knock $1,500 off MSRP on Pro. :nod:

I cant believe Toyota is so stingy on their prices. I know 4runners have a great resell value but I can build one on toyota's website for the same price on what they are offering. I'm not real familiar with ordering a 4Runner, but I was told it wasn't as easy as some manufacturers.

When I bought mine I just told the dealer I want a Blue Trail edition and they had to source one from another dealer a couple of states over.

The price and negotiating room also depends on location. I was able to get a trail edition for less than some states are paying for an SR5.

I'm not sure how AK prices vary, but I paid $34k for my SR5 Base 4x4 in August down here in FL. Now that it's the end of the MY I'd expect you should be even lower.

Just bought a '16 SR5 4x4 in Florida for 32k (pre everything else), no trade in. The model year deals are certainly around if you're searching.
