Actually several PA dealers quoted me in that range. You've got to hammer these dealers if you want a good deal. 20% off MSRP is my starting point on most new cars. Bought a Honda recently at 16.6% off MSRP and bought another Toyota a few years back for 13.5% off MSRP. If you think invoice is what the dealer pays for a vehicle, you are kidding yourself. A dealer offer to sell at invoice doesn't even get me out of bed.

Got our 16 trail edition premium for $40,000 even. Heated seats, entune, nav, back up camera, crawl control nonsense. Traded in an older yota car for $4K and tossed in $6K cash so $30K before taxes yadda yadda.

Other dealer stood firm at $43 and would only give $2K for the trade in... Luckily I know a guy that knows a guy at another dealer and got a better deal.

It's funny how it's like real estate: same exact product in a different region can vary drastically. Almost worth shopping out of state or something and paying shipping. Nor Cal is so expensive. But zero regrets. Trucks sooooo gorgeous

Curious if you don't mind posting up how much you paid for your new 2014 4runners out the door price and what TRIM and options you got.

I'm only interested in OUT THE DOOR price.

Just want to see what it would cost me to trade mine in for a '14

We picked up my fiancés 2017 TRD Off Road for 39,798 +TTL. Just kind of got lucky on that one. We agreed on that price for a 16 TEP, and they brought a 17 in instead. So we got the 17 for the price of the 16.

$49,750 for my Canadian trail, last year. That was out the door.
I went to 3 dealers looking for a black trail. Only one showed any interest in getting one for me. It took 6 weeks. The other dealers both told me 3 months.

I believe the price has gone up a bit because of the dollar.

Fun fact: a trail in Canada is a TEP, and comes with KDSS. the trail package cannot be ordered with anything less.

All of them have been flat out rude. What will the service be like after purchase if they are not interested in selling me a 40k truck? Wtf is wrong with these sales guys?

That was 2015. The price on 4runners went up quite a bit in Jan 2016 when the USD was $1.47. The canadian price is still a value, all things considered.

If you willing to look out of side I would. I am pretty sure you can find deals. I went out of state for mine. It's still going to be worth it even after having it shipped compared to what the local dealers were marking up for Trd pro.

Just picked up a 2016 trail with KDSS for 40k OTD. (yes that includes tax title license blah blah blah, hence the OTD, why is this even necessary to put?)

It stickered for 39k. I was able to talk them down a little, ~3-4?k or so, they were willing to deal since they wanted to get rid of the 16's and i had 10k cash to put down. "we are loosing money on this sale" yea doubtful lmao.

I'm in Central Phoenix, bought at Toyota of Surprise.

Got it in white and it had 1 mile when I test drove it to 35 miles, walked off the lot with 37 miles on it. Felt like I got a pretty good deal on it and have almost 1,000 miles on it now.

No trade in, put $5,000 down and used the $750 military rebate on it. I did a lot of shopping around locally since a lot of dealers had Trail's and pretty much kept calling with lower numbers to each.

Yeah, that's not a great price. You could do worse but he's not doing you any favors imo. You're paying about what I did and my MSRP was ~$2500 more.

Email a bunch of local dealers telling them exactly what you want and let them outbid each other. Don't seem too eager. I posted a couple of pages back how to determine base cost. Try to get within 1k of that or as close as possible. Make them sweat.
