How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

I just picked up a '17 TRDOR with nav and KDSS for $38,500+TTL. Not the greatest deal I've ever gotten, but that's about as low as they're going for out here, especially for TRDOD with KDSS, which have been VERY hard to find. I emailed all the dealers I was within driving distance of and while some had better numbers, the price difference was negated by the travel cost so I bought local.

Just joined, but got our 2016 Limited in July last year for $37005 out the door. That included full bumper to bumper warranty. Reason we got it so cheap was the hail damage to the hood and the roof. I don't really care about a little hail damage since the vehicle was brand new and was perfect inside. I am on the lookout for a blizzard pearl hood though lol.

Finally picked up my 2017 TRD Off-road Premium 4Runner today!

I actually ended up getting an even better deal than originally posted. Since they one i put a deposit down on having papers signed on it at the same time i was giving the guy my information, they had to find me another one. It took about 7-9 days to get it, but they honored their price. The original deal was for a retail price of $39,540. Basically a bone stock TRD Off-road Premium.

Here is what I ended up getting.

MSRP = $41,066 (Base of $39,540 + Charging & Connectivity Kit, Remote Engine Start, Cross bars for Roof Rack & Black Tube Steps)
Sale Price = $36,179.10 (Discount of $4,886.90 or 11.90%)
Sales Tax = $2,261.19 (6.25% State of Texas)
Fees & Misc. = $324.60

Total Vehicle Price = $38,764.89

Now, the one part that I did mess up on was purchasing an extended warranty. I made a mistake on this part by not getting some prices up front. I didnt' do my research here and it's bite me in the ass. I will be calling and canceling the extended warranty tomorrow. I'm not even going to post how much I paid because it's honestly embarrassing. I will remedy that situation very soon though.

I feel as though I got an excellent deal on the 4runner it self. Picked it up with 5 miles on it. Currently sitting around 115 miles. Excellent ride quality and couldnt' be happier with the vehicle. Look forward to many more miles with it!

It's a couple of cords and a extra 12 volt plug in the rear along with a dual USB charger. Not worth the money at all

There was no trade in so wasn't hosed there. Interest rate was 3.85% for 60 months so I think I did pretty well there. My credit score is decent, but it's not perfect. I din't really shop interest rates when they came back under 4%. I may shop them in the near future and see if I can get something better through a credit union or my bank but I doubt i would see much change. Honestly the only thing i got hosed on was the extended warranty. I was unaware that these weren't set prices. I assumed that if you got the warranty from one dealer it was the same as another. Boy was i wrong. But i will cancel the extended warranty and then shop it around and get a better deal on that. Figure i got plenty of time to get that done.

I've never heard of a dealer knocking $7000 off MSRP for a 4Runner at any trim level.

Yeah, I was surprised too. I thought for sure i would get to the dealer and find it had 500 miles on it or that it had something major wrong with it. But nope, as advertised, it had 6 miles on it when i test drove. I think the dealer i bought from had gotten it in a trade from someone else and wanted it off the lot. It is a 2016 so i expect some discount from new 2017 prices, but i was more than happy with a 'year-old' truck at that price!

Return the warranty and see if you can get a better price on extended warranty here.

Just bought a 2017 4Runner Limited for $41,000 + tax & tag. OTD price was $43,376.55 (6% sales tax). It was a great buying experience. I emailed the internet sales assistant for the best price she can give me on one with grey exterior with black interior. She emailed me back with the internet price quote (see attachment). I asked her if she could go any lower. She told me to hold so she can ask the manager. 5 to 10 minutes later she came back and told me the best they can do was $41,000. I told her I'll be right over to discuss in more detail. The only thing that I really wanted was the running board that was not included. I try to get them to throw it in but they wouldn't do it. They only give me the mud guards. Hopefully this'll help out the next buyer. Don't be too tough on me. This is my first post on any board. Just trying to help. By the way, I tried the Penfed and Cosco auto buying program and this is still the best price.

I got my 2015 in that area. It was the only place I found the one I wanted, it happened to be advertised when I was there on business (I live in Miami), not even delivered to the dealer yet.

It was the standard sale price of $38,500 for mine, this was in October 2014. They gave me more than what I was going to ask for on my trade also. This was Koons out in Tysons Corner.

The best quote I have received is 41500 + tax and license fees. This is for a trd trail premium with kdss. These socal dealers are not willing to do less its crazy.

When I got there they didn't let anyone test drive it because I had already had the deposit down on it. It has most of the extra features you can get on it, and out the door cost under $48k. I had already got pre-approved at 1.99% for 60 months from my bank because I was waiting on a TRD PRO to come in, but the dealership always had an excuse for why it was taking so long coming from the port to the dealership and they wouldn't let me put a deposit on it. However I did end up getting the full bumper to bumper coverage as well as maintenance and tune up all included. 7 year/100,000 and I figured it was a good idea because I drive so much for work. Then again, this is my first new car purchase, so I could have done wrong. Either way I am so damn happy I got the TRD Off Road instead of the Pro.

That's crazy. I got a 2017 TRD pro for 43k and some change out the door. I went in pre-approved @ 2%. I didn't do the extended maintenance or warranty though.
