How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

New member here. Went yesterday to drive and most likely purchase a 2017 black TRD Offroad premium. Dealer gave me the run around with the price. Walked out and fleet manager at another dealer got a MGM TRD Offroad premium w/KDSS and Sunroof ( which I hear is very rare) so Ill get it in 3 weeks with the price locked in way lower than the black one . Can't wait!
2016 SR5 w/ 3rd row seating
Just got a new 2016 SR5 with 3rd row seating. Barcelona red with black interior. Included tinted window, entune with navigation, and floor mats.
Sticker $36,309
Paid $33,300 OTD
Negotiated between dealers in the area. Several said they could not compete with that price.

I hope it's not too late. Look on cars.com for the one you want, call around and offer MSRP-14%. Then you'll have to add Tax etc. to that. This is if you're willing to shop around. I've traveled several hours to get that type of deal. Usually a small town dealer. Good Luck and for what it's worth I love my 4Runner. I just sold my 2015 Trail Premium that I got for $38500 out the door, pocketed the $4000 and bought this new 2016, same car basically. So yes, I paid the payment for a couple of years, of course, but I'm not ever going to be able to avoid a car payment. But, the value of these things when you're ready to sell is awesome. A great value and when I'm going into the Arizona Strip there is nothing else I would take (except for an FJ). It sounds like an ad but it's not and it's true!

I've been poking around at all these prices and it looks like about 12% off MSRP seems to be normal.
2017 trd off road premium in metallic gray with moonroof, cargo cover, exhaust tip and all weather floor liners/cargo tray $35,866 before TTL. Comes in on Friday

So how do I find this information?
If you go to the main Toyota website, and select "build & price", it asks for your zip code. That immediately kicks me over to the South East Toyota website. Once I pick what I want, I have the option to see the inventory.
As an example, here are 10 Barcelona Red TRD Pros arriving shortly:

And if you do the same at the Edmunds.com website, you'll see which ones are at which dealerships in a 200 mile radius real-time. That's what I used to get dealers to compete against one another.

Only options were the sliding cargo tray and sunroof. Plus the dealer installed the paint protection, front bumper bra, pinstripe. Out the door was 38,387. Not bad IMO. Took delivery Monday and the pinstripes are coming off first chance I have on Saturday. I don't know why the dealers put them on all the new Toyotas on the lot.
