How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

This is north of Boston. Purchased a 2017 TRD Off Road (SuperWhite) with Premium Audio / Nav, All Weather Floor Liners / Cargo Tray and Roof Rack Cross Bars. Sticker was 38,574 and cost was 36,000 before document fees, tax and trade in of an 06 V8 4Runner with 228,600 miles.

Purchased a Nautical Blue SR5 Premium in MD for $36,500 plus ttl. MSRP was $39924. It has moonroof, side rails, all weather mats and the convenience package.

Traded in an 08 Honda Accord for which they gave me $4,000. Started things out by going to Carmax and getting a $3000 offer for the Accord which was right in line with the KBB value. Emailed several dealers about the 4runner I wanted and two became competitive with their prices. Took the Accord to both and after some back and forth, they both settled in around $33,000 after trade. I pulled the trigger when one offered more for the Accord to get the price after trade to $32500. (The other was offering a cheaper price on the 4runner, but couldn’t give me close to that amount on the trade). OTD price is always a little unclear when a trade is involved, but I’m looking at it as I got about 8.5% off MRSP plus $1000 extra for my trade.

I really cant remember what was listed on the sticker...

it has rigid running boards, roof rack with 2 crossbars

Just be sure to get what you want without regret in the future. If you are set on the Pro because that's what you like then get the Pro. That being you could build up the SR5 to your liking and it'll be just as or even more capable.

Don't go to Putnam Toyota in burlingame. They are pretty much a no haggle dealership. I got a decent quote from SF toyota, but ended up buying from Tracy Toyota cause they gave me the best deal.

Ah no regrets I wasn't even looking at trd pro at first but than I really feel in love and so did my wife with the cement color but overall things are changing in my life over the next 6 months and having a huge car payment isn't the best thing and I also figured I could mod an sr5 and make it the way I want. So still a win either way. lol

Just be sure to get what you want without regret in the future. If you are set on the Pro because that's what you like then get the Pro. That being you could build up the SR5 to your liking and it'll be just as or even more capable.

Last Saturday I purchased a 2016 Trail in MGM with a net value of $26,000 before TTL. The MSRP was $38,330 with dealer adds of rack cross bars, all weather 4Runner mats & cargo and chrome tipped exhaust. Honestly nothing I really wanted but oh well.

I received a trade in for my 2006 4Runner SR5 with 150k miles of $9,000 and paid $34,720 plus to satisfy my wife the dealership through in heated seats which they said was a cost to them of $280 which brought the final price to $35,000. Overall very happy because the Trail's price was only $270 more than the best deal I received on a 2016 SR5.
