Here's the problem. I put a deposit on the vehicle after I was told the vehicle had third row sate by the salesman. The pictures show it has third row seating also.
I asked him in writing to validate that the vehicle had them. He called me and told me that the vehicle doesn't have third row, they were sorry and basically said if I wanted a red one it would cost me 1100 more dollars or they could refund my money.
I think they are playing a game and we're going to wait until I showed up and played stupid.
I paid a deposit on an advertised product and they are pulling "bait and switch" I think. I'm pretty sure that vehicle actually does have the third row and they are being shifty. Also the new vehicle they quoted with the third row on the offer sheet had the vin hidden. I asked for the VIN and thy said the computer was down and couldn't provide it.
Any thoughts?

Doesn't look like yours has the 3rd row. I use the link below from toyota to check different vehicles, and compared yours with one i saw that had 3rd row. Yours didn't say anything about it, the other had a whole paragraph on it. Check it out! I wouldn't buy anything that wasn't exactly what I wanted.

Depends, was the original price for one they thought had 3rd row?
The original price quoted for the SR5 premium 4x4 advertized as having third 3rd row seating was right at 36,600 that's not included tax, title and license. That's the price of the vehicle.
They said they made a mistake after ai made the deposit and said the new price on the third row car is 37,700.
If it were me I’d walk unless they give it to you for the price you agreed on. You can always shop around and come back if you don’t find anything better. If you’re up for a drive, van trow Toyota in monroe had the best prices I could find in Louisiana. There’s a guy named Richard working there that’s a pretty sensible guy.

My 2014 SR5P was listed at $32.5K all stock with 24K miles on it in late July...I ended up getting 1.5K off that price and paying 31K(no tax due to big trade in)... with the Rims that seems about right to me...if you got them down a few grand...maybe even better? But it is a cool looking truck regardless of the financing discussion, etc

First time poster on here and will likely buy a new 4Runner this weekend. Just thought I would share a quote I received from Ourisman Fairfax Toyota in Northern VA. I will likely get a TRD Offroad Premium but thought I'd try for a Pro...
"I'd be more than happy to provide you with a quote for a 2017 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro. We actually just got one traded in that is red and it has 14K miles on it! I know you we're probably looking for a new one however I did want to let you know we have this one in stock and it is going for $57,991 (plus taxes, tags and fees). Would you be interested in coming in to take a look at it? Do you have any questions regarding this vehicle?"
I know the TRD Pro fetches a premium but I would have never guessed a price like this on a used one!

Personally just based on that email I'd let them know I will not be considering them for any vehicle purchases ever. That's ridiculous even for a new one, much less a used one.
Sunnyvale Toyota, the same dealership that told me "we do a standard $500 under MSRP on everything we sell whether it's a regular car or an in-demand car because that's how we stay fair" when I tried to get a better deal on a Limited or Off-Road, is selling a 2018 4Runner TRD Pro for a smooth $50,413. Either the MSRP on that TRD Pro is $50,913 or they're liars. I wonder which it is.
