I wish it had sunroof... that's sort of a deal breaker. I really like having a sunroof, but there's not many TRD OR with sunroof out there. Not sure it's worth it...

Is that an out the door price, including taxe?

Yeah, the premiums were more than I wanted to spend. I didn't want a moonroof and I can live with cloth seats. I've got my very first Toyota product being delivered in a couple of weeks. I'm buying a silver 2018 TRD OR(the regular one) 4Runner. I'm super excited and can hardly wait until it gets here.

Apparently, mine has Entune as well. I don't remember exactly, but it was a little over $34,000. My out the door price was $36,800. I got oil changes for the first 50,000 miles and lifetime warranty included in that price. I don't know if I got screwed or not, but I thought it seemed like a good deal.

I'm looking at $42,319 (MSRP $43,119) for an '18 Off Road Premium with :


-KDSS
-Power moonroof
-Roof rack cross bars
-Exhaust tip
-All weather mats

This is DE/PA area and the dealers 1st offer

The dealer also tacked on a $699 "environmental Protection" fee.

What the heck is that?

I get some of the dealer prep fees, but that sounds like a "fee" fee

Well, I put a deposit down. Could only get the dealer to budge to 5% below MSRP. Considering there's currently only 2 other TRD ORP's in the area, I think I'm getting a fair deal.

Exact color and package I want. Adding the TRD pro wheels and terra grappler G2 tires. I'm going to sell the stock wheels on craigslist. Parts manager was pretty upfront and said I'd get about 3x what he would give me.

The "Environmental Fee" was the paint protection package. No thank you.

I did get suckered into the "Pulse" package. $350 to make the third brake light flash when you put the brake on. I drive I-95 between Philadelphia and Baltimore almost every day. I could probably find a mod for cheaper.. but.....

Thanks it was out of town deal, but they are gonna delivered the vehicle trailered to me. Dealers in my town don’t discount runners at all

I should be driving in a new TRD OR tomorrow. Nautical blue with entune, running boards, cargo cover, and all-weather mats.

$35,723 OTD then $299 Dealers fee, taxes and titling, too.

Was able to find a dealer offering $34,391 for a black one with added options of door edge protection and cross bars. Just not a fan of the upkeep on black vehicles.

Update: negotiated down to $34,913 before TTL today and drove her 117 miles home.
Dealers are Koons and Waldorf.

I just picked up a 2018 TRD Off road Premium with KDSS for $37500 (plus tax tags and $300 processing). Couldve gotten it for $36,500 if I financed through Toyota and got the military rebate. Got a great rate with Navy Federal so i skipped the rebate.

I love the car but am not impressed with Entune. The speakers sound muddled and cheap for a “premium” vehicle. I like the gps and headunit features, so despite my audio shop strongly advising me to change the head unit, I think im going to start with just upgrading the front speakers. Im also not very impressed with the softex. It looks nice and is soft - but feels kinda cheap. Time will tell, other than a few minor gripes like these I am really excited about the car and the good deal that I think I got!

Hey there. I live in Houston as well and about to start my negotiations. You look to be getting a great deal. What dealer are you using, I would like to get one from the same person if possible. I am looking for a SR5 4X2 Premium, leather interior, no moonroof but with a few other options like cross bars and tube side rails...i live by Fred Haas Toyota Country and about to start talking price.

Ive thought about replacing the headunit but i feel like the double dins I've seen installed don't look nearly as good as the stock unit does.

Couldn't have done the TFS deal to get the extra $1k and immediately refinanced with Navy for the better rate?

I'll message you a little more details shortly, but I picked it up at Mike Calvert Toyota. So I was very close to signing for an SR5 Premium 4x2 with 3rd row seats and crossbars, tube running boards etc. for $38K OTD (MSRP $40,200) but was set on getting a 4x4. I was communicating with multiple dealers and they were the only ones willing to beat a previous price of $38,450 from another dealer.
