How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

Have you ever tried to "end negotiations" by writing a check, and actually walking out if they don't agree? I have at this particular dealership, and then brought my new truck there for service. Do you know what the dealer markup and incentives (model year end) are? How about the number of these "hot trucks" that are sold OVER sticker? I'm pretty confident there are other savvy buyers out there that have gotten their truck under MSRP as well. Like I said - they can make their profits on someone else.

I'm not going to provide a scan of my purchase contract nor my check, so say what you want. I know I have NOT paid sticker (MSRP) for any vehicle I've purchased since I was just out of school. Not for my 2014 Raptor ("Hottest truck out there" at the time), not for my wife's 2010 Mustang GT5.0 right as they were hitting the showroom floor, not for the 2012 Tacoma I purchased for my kid, not for any of the German cars we've owned ("hot/new models" or not)...and not for my TRD Pro. Heck, when kicking tires, they offered me 8% off the new Land Cruiser they had before I even drove it.

Also, the roof rack was the factory unit that came in a "package" with the running boards. So, removing them was a way to credit me or help lower the price.

Rather not get into a war of words over this...not really worth it, is it?

I could say I bought one for $1 and refuse to provide any evidence. Just believe what I say does not cut it!

I didn’t got a lot off list but, I did get 23,5 in trade for my 2013 Taco! The Taco was a double cab TRD Off-Road. I changed out the OEM wheels for the TRD Bronze Bead-lock wheels dressed with P275/70R/16 BFG KO2s. All-Pro Sliders covered in Line-X and a OEM bed step. The truck had about 75K on it when traded.

I only paid 29 something for it new and drove it for 4-1/2 years.

Was it a deal??? Open for opinions.

Offered a 2018 SR5 Premium with running boards and the Toyota Platinum package (which I don't need or want but comes with the vehicle) for $37,800 OTD in Fla. Good deal or no?

Are you talking a 2WD, I assume? Does it have a moonroof and third row seats? Also, does OTD mean TTL included? There are a lot of variables to determine if you got a good deal or not?

I would say that is a great deal. I am looking at 2wd 2018 SR5 Premium with NO moonroof and no third row seat in the $36,900 range OTD. but it will have to be ordered because SR5 premiums typically come with Moonroof and third row.

I recently purchased a Cav Blue TRD Pro - MSRP was just under 46k, the dealer adds a $995 'package' to all cars they sell. My truck wasn't to be here until late-March of later, they then had an exact truck show up on their website, but they were going to add 4k worth of paint and interior protection, as well as 3M clear masks. I went ahead and pulled the trigger - I am ready for a new truck and I'm tired of waiting.

Price was 56k out the door.

Wow, that is $6k off. That is amazing.

Which dealership did you purchase from if you don't mind sharing?

Can you tell what brand those rock rails are?

56k OTD for a 4Runner? I know it's a TRD "Pro" and all but damn. I bet the dealer loved you on that one. That's Lexus GX460 territory.

2018 4Runner SR5 Premium 4x4 Grey with Black Softex Seats, Sunroof and puddle lights was $40,120 exactly with tax, tag transfer, destination, out the door...

Mine is the same, but Barcelona Red.
MSRP $44,000. Paid $40,125 + ttl.

Price before TTL was 50,200. I actually started by shopping the Lexus GX - I really wanted to like that truck, the interior was very nice (I'm coming from a full-size Rover) but the exterior is awful.

Toyota Lake City

I emailed them about that one. They said somebody ordered it and they backed out. They added the exterior/interior protection package and clear bra. I asked if they would sell it at MSRP since it was still in transit and that stuff wasn't installed. They wouldn't.

Congrats on the your 4Runner TRD Pro!
