How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

I just bought my new TRD Premium in Houston, about 2 weeks ago, Mag Grey.

Only option was the sunroof...just what I wanted, nothing extra that I plan on removing anyhow.

I forget the MSRP...point is, I paid $39,000 flat.

When you say flat, do you mean including TT&L?

No trade involved.

2018 TRD Off-Road Premium MSRP - $43,002
- Sunroof
- KDSS
- Complete hood & door/trim paint film protection
- Charging kit
- Full tank of gas
- Complete set of OEM all-weather 4Runner mats

$36,598 + GA tax 7%.

$39,180.86 - out the door

umm... $6400ish off?

When I see posts like this here I want to see you guys post up your contract, because that's a LONG ways below invoice.

I can tell you my local so Cal dealer would not have done that deal. I just bought a new LE and got only a couple grand off MSRP.

That’s a great deal! I couldve gotten the same with the mimitary discount (but wouldve had to finance with toyota). My car was maybe $500 less msrp- so you beat my stellar deal by like $1500. Maybe my dealer will give me a rematch. :P

You should be stoked!

I am.

I would love to know what motivated a dealer to sell a vehicle that far below his cost even with hold back taken into consideration. That was a loser deal for that dealer. No doubt. And a monumental victory for you. Good job.

I picked up a 2015 TRD PRO with 20K miles on it for $37500 :bounce:, I flew from NJ to Tampa FL to pick up the vehicle and it is the Fire Orange color..is
This si my wife's car and she and I both absolutely love it.....Other ride includes a 2013 Wrangler Sahara completely hooked up...which is my ride...

In my case I paid $1000 more than him with pratically zero negotiation. I reached out and they tried $500 of msrp. Another dealer shot from the hip and was a damn close to $5k off with first offer. The first dealer ($500 off msrp) immediately offered a few hundred more off to win my business. Whole thing was done over like 5 emails. The only incentive was it was a week before Xmas - but I got the new model, not the 2017.

I wrote out a very general statement inquiring about a white or silver TRD Premium 4Runner. Nothing specific other than it had to be a TRD Premium and one of those colors. I opened my search radius to 200 miles and shot the e-mail out rapid fire style to any dealer with one on the lot. I didn't even have to retype anything because the e-mail was saved through the website...all I did was open a new tab and hit send for each one and wait for responses. As they all came in I noticed one was way below everything else I had seen. He actually quoted me $36,549 right out of the gate, and didn't even flinch whenever i asked for the dealer fee to be removed. Beyond that I never even tried to haggle him, we exchanged several e-mails and I was on my way. I never spoke to the guy or met him personally, everything was done via e-mail. While sitting at the table with the salesman, I asked if they could throw in a complete set of all-weather mats. He got up and went to the parts dept. and came back with a complete new set still in box.

Seriously, the easiest buying experience I believe I could have.

2018 SR5 Premium Super White

35,800 + tax and fees. About the best I could do in the Pittsburgh area. Maybe could have done a little better but used dealer I was comfortable with. They started to bow out at around 36,000. There is a lot of inventory in area, 2017 same color, same lot, they would only for 170 under 2018. No difference in truck 2018 manufactured 3 months later. I credit this thread with helping me shop!

LPicked it up 3 days ago $33800 2015 Super White SR5 Premium 4x4, 32k miles.

Also came with a LIFETIME power train warranty, and additional 60k bumper to bumper warranty.

Wow, I thought I was getting a good deal tonight on a new super white 2018 TRD Off-Road with KDSS at their invoice of $38k, out the door around $43k.

Guess I need to do some looking around! Some of you got amazing deals. Anywhere in GA that have them?

Some things to keep in mind about this thread...

What each member paid for their 4Runner will obviously be different but they are also snapshots in time. For example when I bought my 2013 in 2012 I was shooting for 8-10% off MSRP which I got. The 5th Gen has increased in sales every year since, so with more demand my deal may or may not be reasonable. Beyond that markets vary based on geographic location and the demand in those locations.

That's not to say you can't find good information, but being skeptical of a deal in Illinois because the market in SoCal is different doesn't make much sense.
