Just got my 2018 SR5 with Nav for $35k, last day of the month, dealer was pushing cars out like crazy ... I had to stand my ground with the salesguy, but in the end they just agreed.
My first 4R, or Toyota for that matter, looking forward to get it dirty. My biggest concern is oil consumption, had a big drama with a 2017 Subaru that was eating oil like crazy ...

Congrats and if you cross shopped and bought the cheapest one you could get, that’s about the best you could do. Whether or not you could have gotten them down another $100 is something you’ll never know. Hell, you might be within $50 of the lowest they would have gone before telling you to pound sand

Thanks! The more I think about it the more I think I got a pretty damn good deal. In addition to the specs I mentioned above, it's also got the all weather 4Runner branded rubber mats, slide out option in the cargo area, and premium audio package.
What they said when I got down there was true: they sold it to me for $32, 200.

Frankly, yes. These things hold their value way too well, buying used is almost always nearly as much as new. That's why I went out of state to buy my CPO. For me it was worth saving about $4K over new, for a barely used truck. Still had to spend a few months hunting to find it.
I made the purchase. 27.5k for 2015 SR5 4x4 with 29k mileage, third row seats, certified pre-owned.
I think I feel pretty good about it. I could not see major differences between this one and a brand new one, and I felt after the new car feel wore off I would be just as happy with this as I would be a 2018, although 7-8k in savings would definitely be felt for the next 5 years of financing. I’ll use the savings to put some trd black matte wheels and the trd throwback grill on it.

There are only 6 white ones in my area in a 200 mile radius with the Kdss.
Did my best to get it for 38anything but just couldn't do it.
Almost gave up on the Kdss but finally decided it was a must.
I think I did ok? I'm happy with it

Had looked at the 4runners early in my new car search about 2 months ago and didn't like any they had on the lot. Decided to stop one more time before I made a decision on a Subaru. They had one that caught my eye...A 2018 limited in Nautical Blue with Redwood interior. It included the All-weather mats, 3rd row seating, and cross bars and I paid 43k on the nose for it.

First of all, thanks to everyone. Because of what I read here I worked out 10% under sticker.
New, 2018 Off Road Premium, KDSS, running boards, all-weather mats, cargo cover, wheel locks. $39,323 (before tax).
I hope I like this because I sold a pretty nice 3rd Gen to my buddy to get this 5th Gen.

Toyota is running a 4Runner $750 manufacturer cash back until the end of the month. Make sure you get that added in.
