Land Cruiser deal
I have a question for you guys/gals..... So i bought a 2018 TRD Off-Road Premium a few months ago... and the dealer is really motivated to move a 2017 Land Cruiser.... The details are:
2017 Land Cruiser (its a demo so considered new) but it has 15k miles...
Anyone know what good price for the Cruiser would be? I am a bit concerned that the factory warranty will expire ... and 15k miles on a demo.. KBB as a trade in has it valued at 62K
Reason for the trade is I am planning on living in a 5th wheel but they weigh near the 5k limit of the 4Runner... The dealer is offering a decent trade in... id be eating it a little bit.. but if i can work the price down enough i wouldnt be concerned.

I was quoted $37250 (+tax, title, tag) for a 2018 SR5 premium, 4x4, with3rd row, power moonroof, running boards, all weather mats. Is this a decent priceor should I keep looking? Located in SW PA.
BTW never owned a 4runner before, currently drive mk7 GTI.
That's an amazing deal, just picked up a 4x2 Premium with same package for $39K in California
How the hell do you plan on towing a 5th wheel with anything other than a truck?

No idea what your fifth wheel comment references, but if you can price a 17' Cruiser to anything similar to a 18' 4Runner then make the jump, if anything for re-sale value. 15k miles is nothing considering they're both Toyota's, that's still new in my mind. Drive both again and decide for yourself, but the improvement in power, interior, and overall driving experience would make it an easy decision for me. Or buy the cruiser and I'll trade you my built 4Runner, no joke! Just my opinion!
The model year would be something I would have considered if there were any significant changes or if I were planning on trading the 4Runner in the future (more $$ for newer model year on trade). But I felt like it was time to trade my Wrangler for max value at trade in given the mileage and warranty left on it. Plus I found the exact truck I wanted on the lot. Once I install the new struts/shocks I'm sure I'll be happy for a long time.
FYI, I cannot believe Toyota sells the TRD Off Road 4Runners with such soft suspension. If I had it to do again, I would have negotiated for the TRD Pro shocks/springs during my purchase...

I see lots of 4runners in other states selling about 5k under mspr which sounds great but I’m not getting that kind of quotes over the last 2 weeks here in the Puget Sound area. Not sure if we are paying a Seattle area tax due to the economy here or I’m not doing enough to negotiate further.

From my experience over 15 years ago; you need to look outside that area to get a better probability of not only a good deal, but a fair deal, especially the Kitsap area.

So the Airstream only weights 4800 lbs... 4 Runner is rated to 5k but not sure how it would handle it long term.... the Land Cruiser would cost a bit more but i love the interior... unfortunately i bought the Runner already

I'm really sick of shopping. Have found two great deals out of state but both dealers have lost trust when trying to finalize the deal - enough that I have a good sense the deal won't be good when I arrive. Not sure how people are comfortable traveling out of state to purchase. Unfortunately, I have to buy out of state to get kdss.

similar situation..had a dealer refuse to make a deal on a used 2017 but would entertain modify financing scenarios which i did not want..then i was working a deal over email and was pretty happy with a sr5 basic for $29k and then eventually the dealer said they had misspoke and its really 31k...might have to wait it out till the 2019 are on the lots
