How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

Go to Koons Toyota near DC or Salford in MD. both were great to deal with. Mid Atlantic area doesn't have an xp package but you could do that yourself cheaper than a dealer fee. I got my TRD Off Road under $35k with add ons at Koons. It was quite the drive but worth it...they didn't play and got way more for my trade in too.

I went from Miami to Koons Tyson to get mine. Well, I was kind of in the area for work, and they had it not even on the lot yet. Zero hassle, great to deal with, got above what I wanted for my trade in.

Edit - darn, just read the post a few above and I do recall a bit of a hassle; they quoted a price and I said "deal" be back tomorrow. When I returned they magically forgot the price and after confronting, they then "suddenly" produced the quote paper thing with the price we agreed on.

Koons is fine if you want to get a decent price without having to hassle...i hate their dealer fee....and then depending what Koons dealer they don’t include freight.

Yea, overall I rate it an "A" for dealer experience. They advertised some price/sale going on, the exact 4runner I wanted they had, it was at the price I desired, and that was it. Dealer fee yea, but no other weird charges.

This was October 2014, so it was also at the time trying to find a 4runner like I wanted was a bit difficult and they could not even keep them on the lots.

Interesting difference in experiences... Koons Tysons blatantly lied to me about why a vehicle Koons Annapolis had was cheaper (said that the Annapolis store didn't include freight), and both Koons Annapolis and Koons Tysons "WOW" price on vehicles I showed interest in magically went up within a few hours of chatting with them. Koons Annapolis also gave me a completely inaccurate "Costco" price, and when confronted about it (exactly one email after being told "We are a military town and do not play pricing games), skipped the question and just asked for proof of the pricing. Maybe it really depends on the sales person you get, the first lady I spoke with at Annapolis was very courteous, quick to respond, and helpful on the hunt; the second person I spoke with in Annapolis didn't hold any of those qualities.

I guess it really depends on the salesman and time you are buying. I didn't have any hassle but it was 12/30/17 when they were in a race to be the top Toyota dealership in sales for the year. They gave me a trade in price and I told them what I wanted...almost about to walk out and they quickly said they could do it. If they want to make the deal sometimes you have to play "chicken" but know if may not turn out to be in your favor. I just wouldn't buy a Pro there because they do mark them up.

New member here, been scouting out 4runner for the last several months, decided it was time to finally make a decision. One dealer offered me 38k OTD on a TRD off road premium w/o kdss a few months ago but I held out because I was in cali for work. Last sunday went to another dealer who had a leftover 2018 Off Road Premium with tube steps and the grey trd wheels. MSRP was 43xxx , they wouldn't go below 40,500. First dealer called me that day and said they found 2 2019 TRD ORP's with moon roof; a black and a white. Went with the white. Price was 38.8 OTD including title and dealer fee, with trade came to 37.4K . No 2019's at any dealers in 100 miles that I want, almost no 2018's with the options I wanted.

Well the dealer was unable to secure a 2019 after 3 days of telling me they could have one within 24 hours. Made an offer on a leftover 18 of 36.9k OTD with my trade in (no sales tax in NH where I live). Same dealer that said 40.5 for the 18, internet manager seemed more willing to negotiate. Hopefully it pans out and I can finally join the 5th Gen family

Did you try Berlin City out of Portland Maine? Just bought a 2018 TRD ORP non KDSS for 36250 plus TTL; they delivered to Vermont with all the paperwork, just had to go to DMV and register/change over the plates. Super easy process and they are willing to negotiate. Saved 5k off sticker with very little haggling/back and forth. They gave me 10k over what I owed on my trade so I walked out the door paying around 29k

After a couple days of negotiation after test driving on Saturday the 15th, I bought my MGM 2018 TRD Off-road Premium w/ moonroof and black tube steps from Fowler Toyota Norman for $36,500 OTD (In OK you do TTL separately at the tag agency - estimated about $1,800 extra)

To say I'm thrilled is an understatement, considering I'm seeing used ones w/ 60k miles on them listed for about $2,000 less than I paid. Can't wait to spend the rest of forever driving this rig!!

Buy a used 2015 SR5 4x4, you can do that for around 28k, and install katzkin heated leather seats for under 2k.... done.

Yeah I just paid 36k for 2018 ORP with no KDSS, no moon roof, no step rails. Dealer also included 10yr/100k power train warranty plus 2 addition years of oil changes. Crazy considering used 2017 with same specs are 37k.

$45k (msrp) on an '18 TRP PRO.
Dealership gave me a very reasonable offer on my JKUR trade-in. Perhaps because I was paying MSRP, but the (Toyota) dealer out-did Jeep dealers with my trade in amount - which was unexpected.
