How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

Doc fees or dealer fees whatever you want to call them are just BS fees and certain states have caps on them and some I guess don't but it doesn't mean you have to pay for them. "What's the price of the vehicle minus TTL with no added fees", that the question. Just tell the dealer you aren't paying them and they will either say sorry or they'll just add the fee to the price of the vehicle. They are just trying to make you think the vehicle is cheaper than it really is, a dirty car dealership trick. Educated buyers will get better deals.

Find the biggest volume dealers too, they get hefty kickbacks from the manufacturer based on selling a certain number of vehicles which allows them to sell cars cheaper than small dealers. Also, don't use a salesman on the lot as they will want a cut. Go directly to the internet sales manager.

Last day of the month, last week of the year are the best times to buy a vehicle.

Best way to buy a vehicle if you know what you want is to use email, but if you do find yourself in a dealership, walk out if they want to play games. That will usually get the price down but if not, don't buy from them.

Is anyone leasing their 4Runner?

In our area Toyoto has this lease offer: $379/m for 36mths $3,299 due at signing. This is for SR5 at $37939 with lease end BO at $24660.

I have a quote for a Limited at $41,999 (MSRP at $45,700) so I am hoping the lease might be comparable. Any input on if Toyota leases are reasonable deals?

As far as I know, Toyota does not have any good incentives for the 4runner right now. They don't need incentives to move units.

My go-to sales manager in LA quoted $408 with $983 due at signing (state taxes/fees). MSRP $39,013 SR5 4x4. Underwriter is US Bank - you want US bank because GAP insurance is built into leases for FREE. Toyota Financial charges extra for GAP (and their leasing rates are quoted slightly higher)

Lease residuals are set by the bank and regional. You can only negotiate selling price in a lease.

Always do 0 down in a lease. It lowers your monthly, but you do not recover your down payment in a total car accident. This is where free GAP insurance kicks in. When I say 0 down, I mean 0 cap cost reduction.

Supposedly this is a special for the mountain states (AZ, CO, NV, NM, UT, WY) region.

Good info on the $0 cap cost reduction. I've never done least before but I had read the same and forgotten about that...

You can ask them what rebate Toyota is offering. Dealers can only markup the money factor and change selling price in the lease. Everything else is locked.

I paid 34k +ttt for a 2019 TRD Offroad MGM at Marietta Toyota. They advertised 5K off MSRP but still had to talk them down once I got there. Don't pay the $500 for window tint either, I told them to take it off and they finally gave in. Finance guy was a condescending jerk just an FYI

That seems to be the trend everywhere for Toyota Dealership. When I was leasing a Highlander for my wife, I literally got yelled at by the finance guy when I refused to buy his prepaid service at $250 a pop ($500 for 2 services).

2019 TRD Off Road Magnetic Gray $37,100 before taxes and fees in Miami, FL. Lifetime powertrain limited warranty included. Extra features: entune premium, clear paint protection on doors, toyoguard platinum, predator bars, front window tinting, cargo cover. Spent a good week getting prices and consumer sheets from several dealers all up and down the state of FL and putting them to work against one another. As I said in a previous post, the dealer fees down here are inevitable one way or another. I also came to realize how dealers know they will sell this particular car model (4Runner in general) and at times don’t care to lose a sale knowing they’ll get someone eventually at the price they choose to sit on.
Nevertheless, I’m excited as heck to have this car as my previous one was a 2016 SR5 2wd (yes I know).
Cheers!

i just bought a 2019 trd premium one last week for $41,400. this includes all fees and taxes. tax is roughly about 3,100 here in chicago. msrp is $41,409. they seem to be willing to drop the price on sr5's and the limited a little more because they are saying trd trim is more "rare" but ok. i also know of someone else getting the limited one for 44k including all fees and taxes. hope this helps so ppl make decisions. i went to a dealer(oakbrook toyota) and my family had purchased the limited sequoia and rav4 a few years back and was quoted 43,800 for the same vehicle. these guys clearly don't care for customer loyalty.

Pulled the trigger on a 2019 SR5 premium. Silver with predator bars, roof rack cross bars, B.S. film protector, rubber mats, entune nav, auto start. Tax, titles, and unnecessary fees, I walked out the door at $42,300. Obviously I would have liked to avoid some of the extra fees dealers tac on, however I was able to get a decent amount on my Trade in. Considering it had a rough past. The trd pro rims have been ordered and Im looking forward to the next mod. Wondering what u all think of the extended warranty. 10 years 100k miles for $1800. Thanks in advance.

What dealer?

I picked up a 2019 Limited in Blizzard Pearl and Redwood on Saturday.

MSRP: 45,260
+ special color: $395
+ carpet mats & cargo $264 . (in hindsight I probably could have skipped this or negotiated it out - aren't these usually included anyway - but I wasn't paying attention to this one item.. Opps!)
- keep it wild savings -$1000
+ Delivery $1045

Total $45964

Sales price $41,405 + TTL

That's a 9.9% reduction.

I added the all weather mats (+$169) and front side window tint (+$175) along with 10year, 100K mile, $0 ded. Platinum warranty for $1470 to it as well. This was with Mountain States Toyota in Denver which is a volume shop and claim to be the largest Toyota dealer in the region. It was a slick operation and I was very impressed. Also a very hassle free process. It took about 2 1/2 hours from walking in the door to driving out with the new car. I agreed the price by internet chat before even driving down to look at the vehicle (I'd already driven two like it before).

I also just got another quote this morning (36 hours too late) offering the same car with running boards, roof rails and the weather mats for $41,999 which if I wanted running boards and roof rails would have been a better deal.

You guys are better people than me..Anyone that yells at me is going to be standing there looking stupid as I walk out the door. That includes bosses, wife, etc....

I finally made a purchase tonight after shopping for a few weeks. Bought a 2019 off road premium with all weather mats, sunroof, roof rack cross bars, running boards and wheel locks. MSRP was 42,019. I paid 37,300 before TTL. 11.2% off MSRP.

nice score, what dealer?

New guy here. Picked up a brand new white 2019 Toyota 4Runner Off Road Premium package for $35k. Moonroof/sunroof and etc that normally comes on the Off Road package. Down $10k down so my payment isn’t too bad.

Good price, did you have a trade in that got them to bring the price down further? I've been pricing an Off Road Premium within 200 miles and haven't been able to get anyone to go below $39.5k. That's without KDSS too, haven't gotten a chance to test drive one with it yet.
