This is my first post but I have been reading this board for awhile and there is some good information on here. Thank you guys for posting because it has given me an idea of what I am looking at paying for TRD ORP.
I am currently in the market for TRD ORP with XP Predator Package and Sunroof. Dealer in Charlotte emailed me some quotes yesterday. These do not include tax, tag, fee, etc. Are these good pre-tax, fees quotes:
Without KDSS (Gray) MSRP $47,657 Quote $39652
Without KDSS (Black) MSRP $47836 Quote $39831
Finding a Predator Package with KDSS is difficult to find in SC, NC or GA. They located one but have not given me their price yet. With KDSS (Red) MSRP: $47,575.00. Should I expect to pay more since it had to be located?
I have also been looking at the TRD Pro but unless they are going to discount them more at the end of the year, I dont think I can afford to get one of those. Thanks for all the great posts.

The challenging issue trying to compare discounts is that some of the added options (paint & fabric protection, etc.) have a much higher margin for the dealer than floor mats or cross bars for the roof rack. When demand slows a little, you will see more vehicles with fewer high margin options and thus the discount off of the retail price will be lower as a percentage than a vehicle with a laundry list of high margin options. In my region (Gulf States Toyota), there is a 2019 SR5 Premium (2 wheel drive) with a sunroof that has an MSRP of $38,400 including destination, only added option is floor mats. The vehicle does not have running boards or cross bars for the roof rack. There is a $1,000 rebate bringing the price to $37,400 before dealer fees or negotiation. I suspect the discount on this vehicle would be 4% to 5% maybe. A similar 2017 (2 wheel drive SR5 Premium with roof) is listed for sale at $33,500 (certified) with 19,000 miles but it does have running boards and cross bars. The price for the used vehicle is only 10% less which is not enough in my opinion to buy used. I think I will continue to drive my 2008 SR5 with 107k miles and save $30,000 for now.

I would skip the Predator Package at that price, you can do most of those upgrades on the base TRD ORP w KDSS for a few grand less (Black Out Overlays, Pro Grill, Pro Wheels, Predator Steps). A few people in this thread are getting TRD ORP with KDSS for under $40K, paying $47K, no way, that's base pro pricing.

The MSRP for KDSS is $1750. You should be able to compare your quotes by adding on the $1750. Forget what the invoice cost of KDSS is but you may be able to shave a little off that $1750.
My dealer kept trying to talk me out of the KDSS because it is hard to find right now and plus it adds to the price if you are trying to stay under a certain price point or loan amount. Then they have to shave off of their profit to include it...but they did....hopefully get mine this weekend...good luck.
The prices he showed have two different prices, MSRP and what he was quoted. The price he was quoted were the two that were $39,xxx, not the 47,xxx.

I wouldn't either. Like you mentioned that's TRD Pro money. I might actually be pulling the trigger on an ORP with the predator package. Getting a pretty nice deal on one and hopefully I'll be able to drive the price even lower.

Just got 2019 ORP with KDSS, sliding cargo deck, moonroof, exterior paint sealant, rear dual usb charger for $39,653 plus tax, tags and fees. MSRP $44154
Got wheel locks thrown in.....
They got me a little bit on fees, wasn't payin attn.

Was quoted 43,497 OTD for TRD ORP with the following:
1. Sunroof
2. Cargo Cross Bars
3. Cargo Cover
4. Exhaust Tip
5. Door Edge Guard
They seems to just play around with number and end up close to MSRP.

I contacted 13 area dealers and this was the best deal I was able to negotiate. Most were in the $38.5-38.9k range.
Thanks for sharing everything you did as the info in this thread allowed me to know that I should be looking for $37.5k or less!
