How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

I pulled the trigger yesterday and bought in Columbia, SC. I want to thank people here for posting so I had an idea of what people were paying. So, I bought a SR5 Premium 4wd with the XP Predator Package, Sunroof, crossbars, all weather mats. The dealer did his add ons of the window tint, pinstripe, door edge guards, etc.

Original MSRP: 45,841
MSRP after Dealer Markup 47,642
Dealer Price: 38,950 (Before TTL)
Final Price: 39,500 (Including TTL

Negotiated for 2 days via email with dealers in NC and SC. Got the lowest offer in Charlotte, NC and then drove five minutes to my local dealer, who had a similar car I wanted and they beat it by $800. It also saved me about 4 hours of driving on a Saturday. Don't think I got a great deal but none of the guys were offering deep discounts most stuck in the $41k range. My wife is happy since it is hers so I guess that is what counts.

Nice! That's about 15% off of MSRP, before dealer markups. That's a good deal! Nice work! :-)

How does MSRP work? Shouldn't it be the same for everybody as long as options are the same?

It generally is set regionally, but can be adjusted locally beyond that in response to the market supplied.

I picked up my '19 TRD ORP w/KDSS, sliding cargo tray (yuck) and sunroof plus they swapped out the "grandpa" running boards with the Predators. OTD for $42,500. Central Florida west coast, about 90 minutes north of Tampa.

Kept my '08 Sport for kicking around town, hauling the dogs, wife to go shopping, etc, to save wear and tear on my new T4R, her Caddy SRX and my Stang.
 
Just got my first t4r

2019 White Nightshade. Sticker was 48 and change, price I got was 43,000.
(not including taxes and dmv plates etc)

I was perfectly happy with a ORP but wife wanted less off road features (What the????)

Settled on a limited. Kids saw the Nightshade in white and Poof! Extra grand or so out of my pocket.

Nice ride (better than my Tacoma)

Only have a slight problem now. When I was picking it up and before I signed anything I inspected the truck. Saw some dirt spatter on it and found that a bit odd but it rained a few hours before. Tried the old like finger and try rubbing off dirt trick. Didnt come off. Salesman did the same, assured me that it just needed to be washed. Ok no problem. Few days later I gave her a nice bath. Splatter marks of some chemical around the wheel wells and lower parts of the doors. Same in the back. Contacted the dealer and they wanted to detail it. They had it for two days and got a paint guy over there. It might in the clear coat! They are opening claim with toyota on it. I looked at this guy and said I am not going to simply accept a respray on a vehicle with 200 miles on it. Not to mention I bought the car, no lease. If they cant get this stuff off properly I am going to fight for a replacement ride.

Now if you were only close to MN I'd trade you the rear end with my 19 ORP for the sliding cargo tray :)

Got my deal done Monday evening. $39,480 OTD on a Magnetic Gray TRD ORP (no predator package) at Fred Haas. MSRP was $42,427. Sales price was right around $36,800. Shopped all over Houston and found no better deal than that. Thanks all for the information.

That is a really good deal. Seems like last day of the dealer month really helped

Basic package (NO KDSS, NO MOONROOF)
Had no running boards, but dealer threw them in.

$35,500 OTD...
How did I do?
Ripped off or decent deal?

And with the 2020's coming out, you should get a great deal on a 2019. If not then this.

45k for a used Pro? That's encouraging because I paid 45 for mine new.
 
is this deal from Berlin City? I saw they had a used 2019 TRD PRO on the lot for a few weeks now. Great dealership to work with!
