I recommend sending gamester a PM or replying to his extended warranty post. You can definitely get a better deal going that route.

Warranty I’m getting “at cost” for about $3500. Supposedly they retail it at $6500. This is the 7 year 100,000. They are throwing in an extra 3 years also.
TT&L is also $3500 (thanks CA).

7 yr/100k usually means after 7 yrs from the day you bought your new car, your warranty is over. If they are including extra 3 yrs, then it should be 10 yr /100k. I bought 7yr/60 Toyota platinum back in 2016 for my 2016 trail for less than 20% of $3500.

I just made a deal for a 2020 Army Green TRD Pro this week. Sticker was 51,439 and selling price is 48,939, a $2500 discount. It has everything but the sliding deck. I'm happy with that price.

This is in Tulsa OK by the way. There are two Toyota dealers here in Tulsa, one is Fowler, the Other is Jim Norton. Whatever you do, stay away from Fowler. Their GM is a jackass.

Yes, I agree fully. What I am trying to distinguish is whether buyers (enthusiasts on this forum) are "trying" to get heavy discounts on '19s that might be leftover, or are they specifically trying to negotiate on '20s because of certain options, colors (Army Green/Magnetic Pros), and/or options.

I would figure 15-20% off sticker price, plus discounts on prepaid service and extended warranties should be right around the corner on 2019s left in stock.

I am located in Tulsa as well, and ironically I am a multi-Porsche owner as well; including a Macan GTS. I noticed your signature.

I have always had a T4R in the garage as a daily until recently, and I am beginning to think now might be a time to pick up a 2019 ORP or Pro left over in inventory. Given the attempt, I don't mind driving 300-400mi to make a deal happen.

Congrats on your new Army Green Pro. I'm fairly certain I saw it while driving the back lot early last week. Great looking rig.

From what I saw, Toyota actually took away $500 of incentive money on the 2020 4Runner. I really don't understand this logic. Just does not scream "winning strategy." The local Toyota dealer has sold almost NOTHING in the past month. And they have a sheetload of cars and trucks on their lot.

I'm in Northern VA and am in the market as my 4th gen was totaled yesterday. Not even sure of what I want. I do know I probably cannot afford a TRD Pro or hell, even an off road.

If you live in N. Va you need a Highlander rather than a 4Runner. There are few off road trails where you live. If you do not know what you want, have a look at a Camry or a Highlander.

Planning to skim a bit more before i actually step in the door Nothing like online negotiations while sippin a can of beer at my desk.

Can't wait till drop the REAL hammer down in the finance office in front of the contract.

Well, I don't have a great price to brag about but I'll contribute nonetheless.
$42,600 for black 2020 OR Premium w/ sunroof and KDSS.

I could literally only find one car within 200 miles that had these options and it happened to be at my least favorite "one price" dealership. Admittedly, I was impatient and only waited 2 weeks before pulling the trigger. They wouldn't come
down much on price, but I negotiated a few thousand more on my trade-in than anyone else would give, a lifetime powertrain warranty, and some other little freebies. Without the KDSS, there were much better deals to be had.

New to the forum and to 4Runners, figure this is a good first post.

My goal was a sale price 12% off MSRP

TRD Off Road Premium
Only factory add on: All-Weather Floor Liners
MSRP: 43,400ish
Dealer add on: "Premium" Tint $400 and Side panel guards $700 (hahaha)
Total 44,500

Sale price: 38,800ish

I'm in Arizona, so taxes/tag and $499 "doc fee"

OTD price 42,900ish

I'm pretty sure I left some money on the table, but I was happy with this price and the effort it took to get there. Entire negotiation was over email until a phone call to actually confirm deal. There are some seriously garbage dealers in Phoenix, "Brent Berge's Riverside" was the worst. I ended up at Right Toyota in North Scottsdale, it was not a bad experience, probably because I only pushed so hard and the deal was made before ever walking in the door.
