Yeah, I already know this. I don’t care about the cooler.
It comes in two colors (Army Green and Cement) you can’t get on a SR5 and had previously only been Pro colors. I be love the cement color and always have. Yes, I could get a SR5 wrapped, but that’s roughly the adjusted cost I could just buy the Trail for.

Found the car through TrueCar as it got me a .75% lower APR. Low/no-option super whites are crazy hard to come by in the PNW, as I had 3-4 I found after their allocation to the dealership that were already spoken for. We got this one 2 days after it got out of customs jail in Portland.

They are rare over here in VA. When one comes up it’s either heavily built or huge markup.
But, honestly the color isn’t the end of the world. I’ll probably end up getting a white SR5 and building it bigger than the ‘18 I had this fall. Just waiting on word if 2022 will be a 6th Gen.
Sorry, meant TRDOR...no premium. The price point between premium and regular didn't make it worth it to me. If it was real leather, then I'd be all over it. We don't need a sunroof with the rear window, either.

Mossy PB used to be the best...hence me buying three new cars from them before. In 2015 they offered 0% financing on the 4runner and were beating prices from all southern California. Not sure what happened but you are right, now they are expensive. Maybe all the La Jolla/beach peeps are giving them enough business not to reduce prices??

MSRP includes destination of around $1175.
With no discounts, the dealer added a second $1899 said the first destination fee only got it to the port and the 2nd got it to the dealer since they were made in Japan.
Seems a bit bogus to me is it?
I lost interest after a $900 "doc fee" they seem to charge here on top of them wanting 61.5% more than it took to get the 4runner from Japan.

These trucks are nice, but aren't worth a penny over $40K out the door (not including tax and such) assuming it's not a Pro. These trucks are quite basic for what you get and largely "throwbacks" compared to the current competition in terms of amenities, interior quality, and especially the drivetrain (5 speed auto, old school non-DI V6, terrible mpgs). Don't get me wrong, they're awesome and reliable, but to pay at/near/above MSRP is bonkers. Be patient.

This is exactly what it is. And then some. But strictly cosmetic trimmings. The Yakima LoadWarrior basket (or as my wife calls it -- The Dishrack). The YETI (?) cooler. Sliding rear cargo floor/tray. And the black rims. I found the sales guy enthusiastic to sell me this truck after pointing out how green the grass was in the online photos (Looked like early Nov in Wisconsin) and when I scoffed at it saying it was an SR5 with a dorky rookbasket (I love that basket) and a tiny YETI. An SR5 would serve me perfectly fine. I dont need any of the extras on a TRD OffRoad/ PRO. I only like the way they look compared to an SR5 (wheels/ front grill/ blacked out). So to find essentially a blacked out SR5 with some dorky add ons well below MSRP it was a no brainer for me.

I paid MSRP for a TRD Pro. They didn't budge but ordered me exactly what I asked for---it took 3 months to get here but I was able to pick it up yesterday. I am very happy with the 6K they gave me on Trade for my 06 Limited with 217K. Mechanically very sound but the paint was total crap and I didn't have to take any of the stickers off

I think you got a pretty good deal. It drastically depends on the demand in your area of the country, but $4K is fair for a ORP

You realize "Out the Door" means that it includes TTL right? That's the issue with threads like this, it's hard to keep it from becoming apples to oranges.
OTD means just that, not plus anything.
