How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

Just bought a 22 ORP in OKC for sticker minus the go wild savings.
Contacted them. Very helpful and nice but unfortunately wouldn't sell to me as I am out of state.
Working on my own purchase of TRD Pro and will share details once my deal is finalized. I've canvassed most of the western half of the US in my search. There are still MSRP deals out there for the Pro if you look hard enough.
One option slightly above MSRP is Lithia in Medford, Oregon. They're $3k over MSRP but they'll take a refundable deposit and only one person on their waiting list. Talk to Scott Wiegand if interested.
A few of the dealers I've found that aren't currently charging over MSRP: Prosper Toyota in TX, Parker Toyota in Couer d'Alene ID (only for local buyers), Turner Toyota in Montrose CO, Mountain States Toyota in Denver (only in-state buyers), Walnut Creek Toyota, Sunnyvale Toyota. Hope that helps someone else in their search.

I paid MSRP for my 2022 TRD OR w/ KDSS at Durango Motor Co. Ask for Deven Beam. They were all great over there. Awesome town as well.
It was difficult to find a KDSS in Texas. Seems like Toyota ships most of the KDSS trucks to the West and North East.
I was also trying to work with Fred Anderson Toyota in Asheville, NC, but they wanted at least $1k over MSRP. Nice folks there as well.
Finally, it seems like Toyota is really beefing up the "factory" add ons to maximize their profits. Another dealer mentioned this to me, but I don't know how accurate it is. Apparently, it's harder to get a stock truck these days.
Furthermore, the dealer driven "port" add ons were also an issue to me. Many dealers were bundling massive add ons in the ports to supposedly max their profits as well. Seems lame that the buyer doesn't always have the option to turn those down. At Durango, my only port add on were floor mats and roof rack bars. Both of which I was ok with. Again, I was happy with Durango, other dealers were ruthless with going above MSRP. I really wanted a Gen 5, before the Gen 6 came out, so I was eager to buy. Took me about 5 months to find a place that would honor MSRP and then allocate a build / paint that worked for me.

Paid MSRP for my new TRD ORP about 2 months ago in Detroit area. I had worked with a salesman who agreed to call me if any buyers back out of purchasing a 4Runner they ordered. Two weeks later, got a call that a buyer backed out and I was the first one he called, but he also called two other buyers after me and said "first come, first serve." I was at the dealer less than 30 minutes later to make the purchase and there were two other buyers that showed up after me who sat there watching, waiting to see if I backed out so they could buy it.
The original buyer backed out because they ordered a pistol safe in the armrest but didn't like it when it was finally delivered. Good luck finding another one!! lol

I’m in Canada, local dealer told me Toyota doesn’t want them discounting vehicles. Said she doesn’t see this changing anytime soon. Toyota would like to keep the demand high with just in time delivery for vehicles that are ordered. On a $57,000 4Runner I had to play the game for 2 days to get $600 off. I would never pay full price plus market adjustment.
I just got a text message out of the blue asking if I was still interested in a TRD Pro. Guessing it was from Toyota of Lake City in Seattle. They have a Lime Rush Pro. They have all the prices with lines drawn through them online. Even pre-pandemic they were charging 10K over MSRP. If they are texting me looking for a buyer I can only imagine the price they must be asking.

2021 TRD Pro lunar rock, ordered a year ago, took delivery last week. 61k. They gave me the option of not buying it and give me 4K. South Florida , West Kendall Toyoto. There are a couple of Lime green 2022 , 70k in the area. I don’t see any other TRD pro inventory in So Fla. There are several with low miles on CarMax at crazy prices.
Wait, so the dealership was offering to give you a $4k check if you didn't buy the rig? Wow. I guess they figured they'd mark it up $10k and be $6k on the plus side.

South Florida is crazy during normal times. Yes, offered me 4K to walk away. They could have sold it for 70k easy. Supply and demand. You can’t get any 4runner for less than MSRP and any off road or pro is at least 7-15k over MSRP. They will tell you upfront they are going to rape you.

That’s wild. Maybe it’s regional but there are plenty of dealrs in my area with decent 4runner stock and allocation that are selling at MSRP..
