How much did you buy/sell your 3rd gen for this year?

This past December i purchased a silver 02 SR5 with leather interior and only 87k miles for $5800. Undercarriage is clean also, no frame rust. It only needed a r/rear axle seal and brake shoes to pass state inspection. I put it on my lift to inspect the frame & undercarriage before money exchanged hands. The seller was looking at me like i'm crazy when i pulled out a small hammer and started tapping on the frame!

What's missing from this thread is location.

You'll notice a lot of members from Colorado and California. These 4Runners sell like hotcakes in those areas and will consistently draw $1000-$2000 more for the same exact 4Runner elsewhere in the country. KBB does an awful job of taking that into account which is what you're seeing on your own local ads in Colorado.

I bought mine less than a year ago, 1998 SR5 4wd Supercharged with 190,000 for $7000. And that was a good price, he could have sold it for $8000 or more. Only reason why I got it was because I contacted him once his ad went up and offered full price without even seeing the vehicle yet, everyone else was trying to low-ball so they missed out.

In January I drove to Jacksonville and bought a 2000 2wd/V6/Auto with 155k for 4800$.

They were selling for 6k+ in Charleston (some as high as 9k!).

10k miles later and it still runs like a champ. Wish it was 5sp though.

I only have that issue here. I'm also a member over at TacomaWorld.com and a few other car, camping & atv forums and i don't have that issue when i post pics on those forums. I apologize for the enlarged pics.

I JUST (as in today) bought an '01 SR5 4wd with 177k miles for $4,800 in Daytona. A steal compared to what others were asking in the N. Florida area.

Paid $2800 for 97 174k 4wd with 33" tires and spacers. Auto, clean undercarriage, but after few winter season. I needed to do little bit of body work to prevent any further demage. Frame is solid. The body is clean !! 5 speed swap is in the work. Just installed the clutch pedal.

99 Limited, 3.4 Auto 4x4 (duh), bought July 2014 with 194k miles for $5,600, which is a GREAT price for my area, IMO. Added the Shrockworks myself this July
