How much did you guys pay for your 2008 t4r? I'm looking to buy one at the end of the month. Just wondering what a good deal is. Thanks.

2008 4runner sport V8 4x4 with JBL, sunroof, dual decker cargo, daytime lights, carpet floor mats- MSRP $37k. Paid $32.5 with 0.9% APR for 5 years. Or I could have done my own financing and took another $2500 off the price... so just like $29,999. Without options- $29k.

Yes, after all of that (which varies state by state) and gap insurance- it was $34,355, but at 60 months and 0.9%APR. Or take another $2,500 off and pay 5% at my own bank (which costs more in the long run).
 
First post.

I just bought a 08 sport edition 4x4 at the end of Aug. It comes with CD changer (NO JBL), value package (moon roof, etc), daytime running lights, tow hitch, and mats. MSRP is $346210.00, and I paid for $26600.00 plus TTL for MA.

I have for my Camry, but not the 4Runner. IMO, use Costco if the vehicle is in high demand or you're purchasing next year's model (basically if the dealer won't negoiate and want MSRP for it). But SUVs right now aren't selling so well. You can probably negoiate a much better deal than go through Costco. It won't hurt though, the dealer has to show you what the Costco price is.

When I got my 2005 Tacoma, I went to the Costco "authorized dealer" and their pricing was mucher higher than going to another dealer and getting it on my own. I got a better equipped Tacoma for the same price.
 
I went through Carsdirect.com and paid $39,666 ($37,666 after the $2000 rebate) before taxes. This price included SIRIUS radio and the Toyota Platinum Plus 7yr/100,000 mile extended warranty.

I just bought my 08 sr5 4x4 on saturday for 25736 befor ttl. It had the value package, daylight running lights, tow, spoiler, running boards, tip, all weather mats, 3m hood protector. I got that with a 5.1% interest rate. I thought that was a great deal.
 
2008 Urban Runner, V6, tow package, and all options available on the UR, plus 8years 100,000 B-B warranty, pinstriping, bug deflector, free maintenance (oil changes, inspections, etc...) to 48,000, and 3M clearbra.

I paid 36,000 OTD AFTER 6% PA tax, title, and registration. Financed it for 60mnths @ 0.0%.

Not a bad deal, IMHO Oh, and the MSRP was close to 37K.

Good luck finding one in that configuration...

Toyota seems to put together certain option packages rather than making all options available on all models. I don't think an SR5 'Runner with navigation is one of their common themes.

To answer your other question, nav package is $2840 MSRP and an invoice price of $2313. Chances are you won't find a SR5 like this and it'll have to be special ordered. In which case, the dealer will give you very little wiggle room. A base V6 SR5 4WD configured on Edmunds lists the invoice at $30462 and $34275 MSRP

Sport Edition adds color door handles and heated mirrors, bigger brakes, standard distinct 17" wheels, tubular side steps and roof rack, smoked chrome grille and headlights and hood scoop. It comes with X-REAS suspension. The interior fabric is different and it has a telescopic steering wheel. There might be some additional features that I forget. IMO, the SE is the best value for the money.
