Well OP, there are variables to keep in mind:
1) Like which rims you also go with, or if you keep factory. (Steelies are obviously heavier.)
2) Tread level/design. The more aggressive the tread, the more gas it'll take to keep 'em spinning.
3) Brand. Mickey Thompson MTZs are, in my book, much lighter than Nitto Mud Grapplers. And weight has significant impact on MPGs.
So with these variables in mind, you can hurt your MPGs mildly, or blow through tanks left in right. It's all about the homework. Keep your weight and resistance down, and your MPGs will not get the brunt of it.
