How much should I be paying for an sr5 4x4? Would my tacoma wheels from 2011 prerunner and beilstein 5100 fit the 4runner?

10% off MSRP, w/o shipping, is "good" - anything less is more gooder, IMO.
Yikes! I just got back from my local Toyota dealer. The sticker prices for the 2011 4Runners on their lot equipped with cloth and convenience pkg were as high as the sticker for my fully loaded 2010 SR5 (leather, etc). To meet the TrueCar sales price as adjusted for local sales, the dealer would have to come down almost $10K. Talk about sticker shock!

Base price - 32,920
Installed options - 2,397
Total - 35,317
Their price for me 33,700
What do you guys think? Could I find a better deal?

tell them 30 and its a deal.
MSRP on mine was 37, got it for 33. You could probably get em to knock a few more thousand off.

which toyota dealer did you get it at? that's a great deal!
I paid 500 over invoice which was around 3500 under msrp and that was without any back and forth in and out. It was what I was willing to pay and exactly what they offered, cought me completely of guard or I would have went for less but I'm happy. According to usaa it was a really good deal.
Toyota of New Bern in eastern NC. This took several weeks of work and pitting multiple dealers against each other.

I've called several dealers in south Texas and at the very most they're only willing to drop 1700 from sticker price..and most of them told me the 4runner is hard to come by because of the tsunami..anyone made a recent purchase? Ifnso how much of the sticker?

Got my Trail for $1000 over invoice, with the dealer paying off my leased car and giving me a $1000 credit for my stock tires and wheels (with me keeping the TPMS sensors).The dealer had to trade out of state to get the car I wanted in the color and spec that I requested.
I'm sure someone could have gotten the same car for hundreds less, but the time and effort wasn't worth it to me. I basically bought the car over the phone on my lunch break and picked it up the next day.
Obviously, your bargaining position is much stronger if you are going for an SR5 that's already on the lot. There were only a few loaded Trails in my color in the Southeast, so getting a bargain with those types of models are tougher.
