How much is a 1992 Toyota 4Runner worth?

Looking to buy one off my friend in a few days but he doesn't know how much to sale it for. How much are they worth? It's a 92, 4 Wheel Drive, and has 198k miles. In really good condition no problems and passed smog.

I don't really trust Kelly Blue Book so I thought I'd ask you guys.

If you have any other questions to determine value let me know and I'll ask him when I get a chance.

It's only had 2 owners, him and his dad.

What's wrong with KBB? It should at least get you in the ballpark, especially if you price it as if you're selling to a third party.

I just never see these things going for anywhere close to the Blue Book price. It says 1600 for a 92 4Runner but I always see these things selling for at least 2500 even with high miles. My friend said he'd gimmie a deal for as low as 2000.

I thought that was a good deal.. then I saw the KBB price and wasn't sure. So I decided to ask here.

ebay motors has a few for sale right now ranging from around $3000 to $5000. You could also take a look at Craigs List to see how much they're going for there.
