How much lift do i need to fit 38s under the fenders?

I have 5 inches SAS and can still rub my 35's on my front fenders, so more then that...

Cutting and welding! 35, 36, 37 or 38 doesn't matter, it all fits after you adjust the firewall and fenders! And it'll look awesome!

Basicly, cut a hole in the firewall big enough for you to crawl through, then weld in some sheet metal, treat it with some anti-rust stuff, and you're good to go! May have to snip some off the front bumper too..
Fenders will have to be cut to enlarge the opening, but do it proper, and it would look good! Along with fender flares it will be sweet!

Kinda roughly put, but it works I've done it a few times on different rigs
Be thorough and don't rush things, if you do, it'll show on the end result!

Bare minimum lift: 3.5" approximately. This is a pic of my rig with Trail Gear 3" springs, however I have 2 bottom leaves removed, otherwise I would have netted over 5" of lift from their 3" kit.

Plus a lot of front fender trimming and the rear fenders are trimmed and tubbed.

How many times do we have to go thru this?
Even if you put enough lift on to actually fit 38's on, it's way too much tire for the IFS axles to handle. For that matter it's pushing the limits of a stock solid front axle.
