just put a "meat is murder" sticker on your car and a trailer hitch nutsack to compensate, it's a good combo, it adds like 30hp.

Those dimensions equal a 33" tire, right?
If so, you will not notice much of a difference at low speeds (0 to about 40). On the highway though, you will have to down shift or hit overdrive if you ever want to increase your speed or make it up an incline.
Those rockstars though.. no comment. I have said many times how I feel about rockstars. :nono:

alright thanks everybody for the replies. i want rockstars bc i've always been in love with em and nobody in my town or on this forum has a 3rd gen with rock stars. i know how good the monsters look on a 3rd gen so i wanted a different rim on mine, and of course i want black in color and a easy to clean rim. i basically just go mudding in arkansas. what would yall recommend for a tire selection? i do a lot of driving as my girlfriend lives 30 miles away from my house. i've put 7k miles already on my 4runner and i've only had the ride since the middle of july. it currently has 93k miles on it. i want a good mudding tire and road tire, so kumho road venture, nitto terra grappler, bfg a/ts? i'm open to all suggestions. i'm not totally sold on the nittos bc of the price per tire.
yes i do have it, that'll definitely come in handy when i get the tires.

i think ull only notice power loss when accelerating uphill. I notice a decrease in acceleration but where i live there are hills everywhere (no flat roads) and i used the ECT once but noticed a small decrease in MPG then when i didnt use it.

I have never had a vehicle that did not have a power loss after installing bigger tires heavier tires. If you live in flat country it may be ok but in hills it will downshift and struggle a little more. If you like peppy performance it zaps it a little. The response is just of a little and takes some of the fun out of driving. When I put 33s on my Jeep wrangler it sucked until I put in 4.10 gears. Some people get used to it and other like max performance.

there are so many tire choices... i think first wat u need to decide is do u want a road, all terrain, or mud tire?

nittos are acutally relatviely cheap compared to all the other all-terrains... but there are so many to look at, i think its all about personal preference.

I definitely think you'll notice some power loss--(are the Rockstars 18x9??)..........although I ended up going with the Trail Grapplers (mpg took a poop bigtime) !!
yeah they're 18x9, whats the mileage rating supposed to be on those trail grapplers? and do you still like your selection? btw, you have a bad a 4runner man!
