Actually, despite this seeming to be a little off topic from what OP was asking, it may be a decent thing to consider when selling or buying a 4th gen. I probably would've paid less had I known that this could happen to these trucks. On the test drive I just assumed I performed the 4LO engagement sequence incorrectly because I hadn't read up on the sticky actuator issues beforehand. If the truck has issues with 4wd engagement it could definitely reduce resale value!
Yes, apologies to [MENTION=61053]jerlane[/MENTION] for the sidebar but as you said, it's definitely a legitimate concern when valuing or shopping for a 4th Gen.
