How much would my lift install cost

Save your self money I just install the bilstein 6112/5160 with wheeler t13 on a limited.. took me about 4 hours with a box of beer.. now it's at the dealer getting it alignment.. save myself about $1,200 that a 4x4 wanted to charge for taking out the xreas and installing the new suspension..

4 Hours is quick. I just did a 6112/5160 + toytec 2" and UCA. It took me closer to 8 hours. I did it over 3 nights by myself a second set of hands would have made it much quicker.

OP its not the most difficult install to do. Do you have any friends with a garage and some tools. It only takes basic hand tools to install.

I paid $300 to have mine installed with alignment. It was a screaming deal and was 100% worth it for me. It saved me the time and hassle that comes with suspension work, especially when you're crawling around on the ground. It was also a shop I trust so I know it's done right and I didn't miss something.

I knocked out the lift (assembled bilstein coilovers, rear springs/shocks) in about 3 hours. This is the 3rd lift I've done (2 FJS prior...same suspension).

I recently replaced my UCAs with JBA UCAs....that took about an hour.

The biggest pain in the ass folks run into is replacing the front strut springs versus just buying assembled coil overs.

I'm more than happy to help guys in my area knock theirs out.

eta: A local shop wanted about $1500 to install an OME lift on my FJ.....ouch. I'm sure they do awesome work....but.....

Where do you live?
Try to find a local 4x4 or offroad shop as they have more experience. Not sure if a Toyota dealership would do it because of Liabilty reasons plus they would be very expensive.

I'd do it for $150-200 if you are local to DFW area.About a 6 hour job and a extra hour or 2 more on a Limited to remove the X-Reas.Still would need an pro alignment but I'd get it pretty close.

I'm new to this forum and came across this reply. Any chance you're still in the DFW area and do lifts? I have an 06 4runner i'm wanting to get a leveling or lift kit on. It's 4x4 sport edition.

How much did your wheel and tire set up cost? I really like the TRD wheels and want to get some on mine as well. There's a lot I want to do on my 4Runner, but I don't want to get too ahead of myself as I know I'll get a new one in a few years.

I got the tires for $875 (BFG 275/70/17) from TireBuyer... And the wheels actually were already on the rig when I bought it.

Yes, mods is very addictive .. and pricy

wow, 3.5 hours is really good. that was CO's, UCA's, rear springs and shocks? i'm waiting on my UCA's to arrive (purchased on Black Friday :ybrick then I will finally have all my parts and will find a day for the install. i'll be happy if i get it done in 6 hours or less.

Everything you mentioned except UCAs, watching videos I would assume that would add an hour on or so after messing the ball joints. With my current ride height I am sitting good without UCAs, Im sure they will be in my future though!
