Thinking of unloading my 2000 4Runner. 114k, salvage title(was damage that occurred during a storm, so not an accident), runs great, Limited model, in fair shape, new tires, new brakes, all new suspension/struts, new timing belt/tstat/pump, new driveshaft/ujoint.... Oh and 2wd. Probably not much right? Any ideas for southern california market? Thanks all

Well, a guy local to me(Portland area) just flew down to Cali to buy an 02 2WD Sport in Thunder Cloud Metallic. It was in super nice shape, but he still only paid around $3k for it, because 2WD are harder to sell.
Point is, some guys really want a 2WD. He refused to get a 4WD. He's like 50, and said he's never in his life needed 4WD. What's funny though, is that he wants to lift it and put bigger tires on it for going off-road...
Not "wheeling", just dirt/gravel roads, etc.
He looked for MONTHS to find that rig.
How much do I think it would sell for? That's largely based on condition, and you didn't provide any pictures. I would say around $2500- in good shape- in my area. I would think California would be comparable.

2wd kills as well as title. $3k tops if it were me.
I paid $1400 for my 97 I just got, 4wd, 3rz, manual trans and nearly perfect body because it was DIRTY and dude thought it had clutch issues when it was merely a sloppy slave cylinder install.
These rigs can sell stupidly high if you get caught up in the rat race.

If I was buying. I'd really have to want your truck is first!
But the major question I'd want to know - when was the mileage and date it became a salvage title.
Then, what's the mileage now and how much time has passed.
If you've had the truck for sometime after the salvage title and can show mileage along with upkeep. A fair price would be good.
Supply and demand, the person has to want it first.
