How Often Do You Wash Your 4R?

How often do you guys wash your 4Runners? I just traded my Tundra for my dad's SR5 which he always kept sparkling clean. I took it up to the woods this weekend and it is filthy...looks kinda nice with some remnants of the trail on it :beer:

I used to wash my cars once a week, religiously. Nowadays, I wash them every 10 days or so; yeah, I'm getting old :-(. The cars here in SoCal don't get too dirty.
 
I have a 4th Generation & probably wash it twice a year.

I live near the fog, so I spray it down everyday.

And it helps that my truck is silver.

But if you ask me how many times I wash the rims, probably once/month.

And I was the inside of all (5) wheels when I do a 5-Wheel Rotation.
 
My rig is still getting babied, so probably once to twice a week. But it seems like I have a curse that everytime I wash it, it decides to rain the day of or day after
 
I wash it way too much :)

I would say 3-4 times a week. I have an unlimited car wash membership so its free regardless of how many times I wash.

Whenever its dirty or if I am just in the area of the car wash I will run it in there and make her sparkle :)

2200 miles and I haven't washed it once! :wow2: I might be the only person in LA with a dirty SUV. The mud and bugs are a badge of honor for me!
 
Mostly depends on the rain schedule down here. It's been raining damn near every day here, off, and on, for the last 3 weeks. All I can say is, I get to it whenever :shrug:.

It is nice!

No its not brushless, but they take good care of it and its brand new. It uses the microfiber cloth instead of brushes.

I just make sure to wax it a lot so I dont damage the paint with the cloth brushes.
 
For me it depends on the weather. Lately with all the sun and heat, the beast has not been getting that dirty- so about every 10-15 days.
 
I wash mine about every 2-3 weeks. I drive a company car as a daily and when I get home everyday I use that red duster thingy with the handle to wipe off all the dust/dirt. I just clay bared it last month and did a full detail/wax/polish on it. very smooth to the touch after claying it. Looks/feels like its right off the dealers lot.

Line forms behind me :lmao: bought my TE last July been washed once last September. 8K miles on it now. My Crew Max is just as dirty.

Went on the June trail drive this year to Big Bear lake and collected more dirt. My theory is, the inside is clean. I sit on the inside so who cares what the outside looks like. Valet it all the time at restaurants and tell the guys park it up front and be careful to not knock any mud /dirt off :):D

My neighbor's say I'm going to wash the paint off our cars. I like for our cars to be clean.

I try to do this. At least every other week. The bigger issue is the interior since the 4runner is the wife's daily driver.
