How often does your A/C Compressor turn on/off?

Got a quick question here. I was timing it earlier and found that my A/C compressor turns on for about 10 seconds, then turns off for about 6, then kicks back on, etc. I was just curious if yours is the same? I’ve noticed my air isn’t super cold so I’m thinking of doing a recharge soon at a shop.

Mine is on for 10-15 sec then off for about the same. Blows cold enough barely for when I lived in Vegas, but decent now in Ohio.

Sounds like it may be low. You can buy a diy kit as long as the unit still has a charge, save yourself some $$$$. Only reason to bring it to a shop is if it lost its charge or isn't working at all. Just my .02
