How reinforce OEM transfer box?

I reinforced OEM A340F. After that I mentioned some backlash in transmission when I switch AT from R to D on 2WD. When I use 4WD this backlash is not sensitive.
I start to rebuild my transfer and look how I can reinforce transfer cause I have 35's and use my rig in tough mode, when I go mudding.

I saw just a little posts about doubled transfer with custom transfer plates. I asked my mechanic,that made my AT, about 2 transfer cases with Trail Gear sets. He's is wellknown in Russia as swaptuner for offroad competition proto's.
He answered, that all torque will be transmitted through 1 needle bearing in transfer case. If you have 2LTE or 22RE, this bearing will be work for 10-20 years. But if you have V6 and more with 2.28 in first transfer, this bearing will be crushed by the multiplied by 1st trans torque in the second just in few offroad rides.

In this case, double-geared transfer is not my solution. May be somebody knows how can make OEM Multi-Mode more powered? %)

There are a people on here that run dual transfer cases with the auto trans, 3.4 V6 and 35 inch tires and the setup lasts for a lot longer than a couple off road trips.

Crawling. Dual cases lower your crawl ratio. You basically have two cases bolted together with a few adapter plates that allow for double low range. I don't think they would help in mud at all.

What are you looking to achieve with mudding? Larger tires and speed go a long way when having to push though mud. If your not using low range then your stock t-case is not going to change either of those things. Have you broken the stock case? They're pretty damn bullet proof.
 
If your truck is a dedicated mud truck do what the mud racers do in the jeep world.
Running a faster gear in front will keep your front tires pulling a bit faster and on top of the mud. Toyota gears would be 4.10's front diff 4.30's rear diff, it works well in mud, sand, loose terrain anything else not so much when in 4wd.
 
I was going to ask why do you need a stronger transfer case.

But then I saw you are in Russia. I've seen those YouTube videos of big trucks driving through the wilderness of Mother Russia. Looks like pretty tough terrain.

Yes, I broke OEM transfer and burned up 2 OEM transmissions: A340F and A343F.
Speed don't work, when you go across the swamp. You need good low range if you don't wish to be drown.
I should change my brake pads after each 2 trips in forests, cause there're erased by the (i don't now how say it right on english) loam/clay.

Take a look on Russia. It's fully of swamps. For example: In Syberia there is a swamp a little bigger then France. But offen terrain changes 2 or 3 times during your trip. If you will using speed to move forward, you'll have a big chance leave in the forest without your front axle or engine or transmission. This chance will be bigger if you're using extreme tires, such as Boggers, Simex or smthng aggressive.
In this case, I tuned my transmission:axles,AT,engine, now it's time to improve transfer.
If you go hard mudding in Russia, your first friend is a winch.

My rig is street legal. I'm using it everyday%) If I'll be use different gear in axles, my transfer will be blowing up %) Only on blocked mid differential.

If we return to our case "reinforcement of stock transfer", may be someone tried to use any other chains for multi-mode, for example Jeeps transfer chain?
Not "bolt-on", with some upgrades?

In Russia there is some companies, that make diff lockers for different SUV's. They can make custom diff or locker. We ordered helical central diff for 3rd Gen transfer, but it can be manually blocked by OEM actuator. In 4WD mode it works like viscous coupling(like in transfers late TLC 80'ys) and variably distribute torque between front and rear axle, and in 4HLc or 4LLc can work like a stock diff.

Also we have such setups like Dual TLC80 transfers with Trail Gear 3.116 low range, but it woks only with SAS. I don't wish to install SAS :((
