How tight does your gas cap get?

This is going to be a dumb question and Im embarrassed to even ask it, but how tight does your gas cap get?

I have a 2009 and after filling up, I tighten the gas cap and go to three clicks. Immediately after I can loosen it with minimal effort. So little effort that I dont think it's sealing the tank.

Most gas tanks will get poor mileage if the cap doesnt seal the tank. Are they all like this?

No cel, but they are describing my exact issue. Looks like Ill try a new o-ring or get a new cap at the dealership.

I noticed mine was a little too easy to loosen after filling up around 70K miles and soon after I got a CEL which indicated a bad gas cap. I purchased a new one at the dealer and it is much tighter and no more CEL.
