Trico 12L (<$5 on Rock Auto) is a direct replacement for the rear wiper blade. Pop the old one off, pop the new one on. Takes maybe 15 seconds if you are slow.

Dealer near me had lots in stock. Online price better than at dealership. Ordered online, picked up at dealer.

How hard is the rear one? I assume you have to stop the blade in mid sweep to be able to access.
EDIT: Never mind found THIS Youtube Video.
EDIT2: Did just like the video recommended and ended up buying the entire OEM rear wiper arm for $18. It was only $5 more than the blade itself. Part number is 85242-35050 in case others are looking to replace their rear wiper blades.

My factory wiper blades started streaking after about 38,000 miles, so I started looking at replacing the front wiper blades. I read all the reviews on different brands and all the posts I could find on this forum. I decided to just replace the factory inserts since the originals lasted so long and reviews for other brands were all over the place. It took about 5 minutes to replace both fronts, but could probably do it faster if it hadn't been my first time doing it. Its very easy just follow the instructions in this thread. I was amazed at how great my wipers worked after doing this and think this is definitely the best way to go with the 4runner.(I have a 2014 SR5 premium). I got the inserts on eBay for about $7 bucks each.

Just got the OEM Toyota insert for my rear wiper and it took about a couple of minutes to change. Just turn the rear wiper on and turn the key off when the wiper is pointing down. Then just pull arm back a little and slide the old insert out. Take the two metal slides off the old insert and put them on the new insert. Then just slide it back in and your done. Its easy to do and the Toyota inserts work great and last forever.
