how to change a switch for the door

I have been looking but can"t find info on how to change a switch on the driver's door that activates the inside lights. It isn't the fuse, it works intermittently.
I have a 96 4Runner and have ignored this for a while, now that I understand how the wiring is in my truck, I believe I can tackle it on my own. I am one of those owners that usually take it to the dealership to have work done on it- have had really good luck with one of the advisors.. but am not going to pay them to do this....

Look on the body where the door makes contact...near the latch. There is a black rubber boot covering the switch. Peel back the boot, and there is a screw/bolt you need to remove. Then unplug the switch and replace. I need to do this as well. All 4 of mine work intermittently.
