How to deal with additional weight at front of TRDP?

I'm considering adding a C4 lo-pro bumper, light bar, winch, etc. to the front of my 2020 TRDP. I'm concerned about the additional 100+pounds and the additional sag it'll put on the truck.

Is there an easy way to deal with this? Spacers don't seem like a good option.

Is there just a plug-and-play set of replacement springs or something that I can install that will restore factory ride and performance once the weight is added? It's a 2020 so it has the Fox suspension

Don't quote me on this but, from the research I've done so far, it is my understanding that there are springs with higher rate to accommodate the added weight. For example, the Bilstein 6112's have an option for standard weight or an additional 150-200 lbs. They also offer a set of springs only for 80-140lbs of added weight.

I'm sure other suspension companies offer similar products. You just need to find ones compatible with the Fox suspension.

Trust me, don’t band aid it.

Get #650 -700lb springs from one of the outfits here and call it a day.

Labor is the same from an install perspective.

NO! they will not. Some will...most will not.
Eibach is currently making sets of a 1.6" lift, 625 lb spring that WILL work with the FOX shocks on the PRO. They should be ready within a couple of weeks. Pre orders are being taken now.

FWIW, i run about 200lbs over stock on the front, even with the Victor aluminum Blitz bumper. 12K smitty bilt winch, second battery and all the associated cabling, light bar, BCDC charger, Trigger controller and associated wiring etc. etc.

I am going with the Eibach "Fox Springs" for the fronts and a 3/4 inch Cornfed top hat spacer. Should net out at about 2.25" increase over stock.
I will also be adding 33" tires when the lift is installed.

Another member has shared his setup which includes Icon 650lb 13 or 13.5” springs netting him around an inch of lift up front. Not sure what his armor/front bumper is, though.
Eibach has come out and stated they had a tremendous amount of R&D in their offering for 19/20 Pros. Others have refuted that an additional 1.6” of lift moves outside the desired range for how Fox tuned the shocks for Toyota, also citing that 0.8” is the ideal additional lift to maintain within this regime.
Good luck trying to discuss this with someone at Fox. I’ve had no luck engaging in meaningful conversation regarding the TRD Fox shocks.

Bumper alone probably won't do it. Throw a winch in there with a steel cable and you have significantly more weight added in...

Curious...I seem to remember back toward the end of last year Ryan@Eibach stated that they were the actual manufacturer of the TRD Pro "factory" springs.
Given Eibach's decades of suspension experience... betting they know more than we do.
I would be curious to know who the "others" were and where they got their information about how fox tuned the shocks for Toyota. Im guessing that is some seriously proprietary information. They may be right...personally, I'm betting on Eibach.

I recall reading this in the thread started by Eibach regarding the springs for 19 Pros. I agree it’s hard to go against the OEM for the factory springs and Eibach’s general knowledge when it comes to springs. For me the additional 1.6” could prove more than I’m interested, so the option of 650# springs as an alternative is promising.

Which front end? The 100 lbs + variant? What about someone on stock Off Road suspension with kdss? Need new springs?

I just don’t see the need. Like I said I’m the odd man out on this. I’m 200 pounds and if I stand on the front bumper and have someone measure, it just doesn’t make a big change. Stock springs might be different. I have king’s.

Honestly even if it did sag I would just turn up the coil overs. I have mine set pretty low anyway and it’s a lot cheaper than buying new springs and swapping them. I think a lot of people read that they need heavier coils and like most things on here, they’re just repeating what they’ve heard and don’t have first hand experience. Just my opinion so I don’t mean to piss anyone off that disagrees

This says a lot...we with the TRD Pro shock do not have adjustable coil overs either...I really wish I did, But...

Mostly an apples to oranges comparison.
