How to determin Gen of 2004 4runner navigation

I am about to purchase a 04 limited with OEM navigation.

How do I find out what generation it is? and therefore what update options i might have with regards to maps.

The one function it does not have is blutooth. Has anyone integrated a bluetooth only device (I just noticed anothe thread on one such item).

I'll answer my own question. Supposedly the 04 4Runner has 3rd generation Navigation
