how to get off center dash?

question... i have looked a couple places but cannot figure out how to get off the center dash part... i cannot find any screws or anything?? trying to get to where i can pull out stereo and back in that area. any help?

Pull up the emergency brake, open center console. Pull the black piece off. Then pull off the middle piece, then the main console piece. Hope this helps!

Pull the panel by the gear shift then the center is held down by a few screws under the air controls then it should come off with ease

X2 on what everyone else said. You will have much easier accsess that way. I usually just grab where the upper two vents are and pull hard and it pops right out.

thanks guys!! just wanted to make sure that i wasnt missing something... didnt want to break the trim around all that.
