How to get water marks off headliner

So the first time I took my 4runner through the auto wash my sun roof wasn't closed all the way. GO ME, i know. Anyway i got most the stain out by soaking the water up right away with my shirt but there is still brown circles surrounding my sunroof. Any way to get rid of these?

The only thing I could think of would be a steam cleaner with an attachment and to give that a shot by spot treating first then cleaning. Works on carpets, why not headliners. My only reservation would be that it may rough up your headliner.

Get a bottle of Genesis 950.

Water is the key to making it work. Don't think diluting it less makes it work even better. Mix as stated and I can damn near guarantee you any stain in your carpet will go away after using this stuff. Wet the area FIRST, then use a small brush and very lightly agitate the carpet while spraying the Genesis 950 on it, let it dry and vacuum it afterwards.


Sounds like your issue is the headliner. I would recommend covering the seats if they are leather. Not sure how this stuff would do on leather. It's strong, but not harsh to use at all.
